Hello all and Happy Fall!
In addition to the work I do as a social worker and petsitter, I also spend a lot of time working on racial and social justice projects under the lead of Black and brown community leaders and anti-racism educators.
Since so many of you are local, I wanted to share this cool fundraiser that I am a part of every year with the Socially Conscious Women's Collective and the Justice Is Love Coalition ❤️
Thanks for considering! Looking forward to caring for your pets again soon! - Sara

Proceeds will support our group's initiative the Freedom Fighters School™ (FFS).
The FFS focuses on educating and empowering Black families to advocate for their children and community. Specifically, this initiative dedicates time and resources to advocate for: ♥️ 1) dismantling the pre-school to prison pipeline with an emphasis on Black children (students), and ♥️ 2) bringing greater awareness and action to eradicate medical racism, particularly Black maternal health and Black infant mortality. Our mission is to dismantle oppressive systems and replace them with racially equitable and just systems so all communities can thrive.

Cyclamen
Thanks to its tuber, which allows it to withstand difficult conditions, the cyclamen is the flower of deep love. In the language of flowers, giving someone a cyclamen expresses love and sincere tenderness.
