🐾 ANOTHER A6 BABY SHOWING OUT! 🐾

Y’all, another one of our past babies is out there showing just how incredibly talented and versatile these dogs truly are! ❤️

Meet Indie! This handsome boy is a full brother to Panda, out of our Merle × Paisley cross, and let me tell you, these two continue to remind us exactly why we fell in love with this pairing in the first place!

From incredible family companions to working dogs, service dogs, and now watching them shine in agility, this cross continues to prove itself time and time again. The intelligence, drive, willingness to learn, and natural ability these babies possess are everything we strive for in our program.

❤️ We have made the decision to pair Merle × Paisley ONE final time in 2027. After that, our sweet Paisley will officially retire.

And let me tell you, that will be a bittersweet chapter to close. Paisley has given us her absolute all. She has blessed our program with some truly remarkable babies, and she owes us absolutely NOTHING. She has more than earned her retirement, and we couldn’t be more thankful for everything she has contributed to A6.

When I see posts like this, I don’t just see a dog learning agility. I see generations of thought, dedication, carefully selected pairings, and a whole lot of love coming together.

This is why we do what we do.

We aren’t just raising puppies. We are raising dogs with purpose, ability, heart, and the potential to make a difference in someone’s life.

We aren’t just building a breeding program. We are building a LEGACY. ❤️🐾

And watching that legacy live on through the dogs we’ve raised and the families who love them is one of the greatest blessings of all.

A huge thank you to Ann and Jonathan for loving Indie, recognizing his potential, and giving him the opportunity to shine! We cannot wait to watch where this journey takes him!

🐾💙 CYCLONE HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER PERSON! 💙🐾

This sweet, goofy boy who is absolutely FULL of personality and has eyes that do all the talking has officially found his forever person! 🥹💙

Cyclone will be calling Stonewall, Oklahoma, HOME! 🏡🐾

We couldn’t be more excited for him and his new person, Shawna! This boy has such a fun-loving personality, and I just know he’s going to bring so much laughter, love, and entertainment into her life!

I cannot wait to watch their journey unfold and see all the wonderful memories these two make together. There’s just something so special about watching one of our babies find the person they were meant for. ❤️

Y’all, I know it’s been a little while since we’ve posted! ❤️

I’ve been a little under the weather and focusing on getting myself back to feeling better, so things have been a little quieter than usual around here.

But I wanted to share some exciting news! 🐾

Our sweet Tide has officially made it to his new home! ❤️

We personally delivered this handsome boy, and he handled the road trip like an absolute champ! He traveled stress-free, relaxed, and took everything in stride.

And of course, our Merle went along for the ride! 🐾❤️ It wouldn’t be a road trip without our trusty sidekick! Between Tide and Merle, we had some pretty good four-legged company along the way!

Just another reason we love the temperaments we strive to produce here at A6!

The best part? Tide is already thriving in his new home! 🥹❤️

There’s nothing more rewarding than watching one of our babies transition so beautifully into their next chapter. This is why we put so much time, love, and effort into raising well-rounded, confident dogs who can handle new experiences.

We may have been a little quiet, but life at A6 hasn’t slowed down! We’re still here, still loving on our crew, and still doing what we love.

Some updates leave us smiling, some bring tears to our eyes, and then there are those that remind us exactly WHY we started this journey in the first place.

Today, we have something incredibly special to celebrate here at A6 Australian Shepherds!

Our beautiful Kelsey, a Rip × Reba daughter, alongside her dedicated handler, Abbie, has officially passed her Pet Partners evaluation at the HIGHEST level — COMPLEX! 🎉❤️

For those unfamiliar with Pet Partners, it is a nationally recognized therapy animal organization. Achieving a Complex rating is an incredible accomplishment that demonstrates the teamwork, temperament, confidence, and skills needed to navigate more challenging therapy environments.

Kelsey and Abbie can now begin a beautiful new chapter visiting hospitals, assisted living facilities, children’s reading programs, and other places where a little love, comfort, and companionship can make an extraordinary difference.

THIS. RIGHT. HERE. IS WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO.

Breeding Australian Shepherds has never been about simply producing pretty puppies for us.

It’s about purpose.

It’s about preserving the qualities that make this breed so extraordinary. It’s about temperament, sound minds, versatility, intelligence, and producing dogs capable of thriving in the lives they are placed in.

It’s about the countless hours spent researching pedigrees, carefully selecting pairings, raising babies, evaluating personalities, and making decisions with the future of our program and every puppy in mind.

It’s about the sleepless nights, the sacrifices, the hard work, and the pieces of our hearts that leave with every single puppy.

Because at the end of the day, we aren’t just raising puppies. We’re raising someone’s future best friend, their constant companion, their working partner, and sometimes, a dog who will go on to change lives far beyond their own family.

And Kelsey is doing exactly that. ❤️

While we are incredibly proud of the foundation we strive to build here at A6, we also know that genetics and early development are only the beginning.

There is something incredibly humbling about watching a puppy you once held in your hands grow into a dog who will now walk into hospitals, sit beside someone who may be struggling, bring a smile to a child’s face, or offer comfort to someone who simply needs a friend.

We may raise them for the first few weeks of their lives, but the impact they go on to make can last a lifetime.
