With thanks to you our supporters S.O.S was able to help Harold and Stitch at Ferrets Unlimited Rescue Services (FURS) with their veterinarian care. Both little guys needed surgery to remove nasty growths and thanks to you received help on their bill.
The shelter still has an outstanding vet bill so if you would like to help them you may reach out to them or you can make a donation through S.O.S for them or your favorite shelter. As a 501(c)3 your donations to S.O.S are tax deductible as allowed by law.

This is also the last week for FFFAH so sadly the last auction. Special thanks go out to all the artist and especially Rose German for founding the group which has helped so many shelters over the years and included S.O.S. as a regular benefactor.

Support Our Shelters would like to say thank you on this Tuesday to our supporters and donors with special thanks to Tanya at Fluffy Farms Ferret Sanctuary and everyone who donated to S.O.S and the Thor’s Legacy of Love: No Ferret Left Behind Fund.
S.O.S was able to donate Melatonin Implants to shelter ferrets in need with the funds and replenish the Implant fund to help others.
A special thanks go to Cathy R. for her donation which allowed Melatonin Implants to be sent to help ferrets at RFRL and to Ray W. who donated funds for implants sent to Fluffy Farms Ferret Sanctuary. Ray's donation was much appreciated as it was sent across the great pond. :)
The Blizzard Memorial Fund with your help and support allowed us to help Hope at Angel Ferret Shelter Services. Hope was turned into Animal Services with a terrible skin condition and thanks to Diane and shelter mom, Donna she is receiving the care she needs to heal.

Thank you all for your support and help in allowing Support Our Shelters (S.O.S) to make a difference to shelter ferrets in need.

Happy National Ferret Day everyone! To go along with it Support Our Shelters is please to sponsor April as 'Adopt a Ferret Month' with Chase's Calendar of Event. Special thanks to Dawn Miklichs for coming up with the idea of Adopt a Ferret Month in 2007 and start celebrating it in 2008 in conjunction with S.OS.
This month is a great time to support your local ferret shelter and to celebrate these wonderful little companions that we love so much.
It's also a great time to say thank you shelter moms and dads and to say thanks to you, our supporters. Thank you all for making a difference to a shelter ferret!

⚡ Thor’s Legacy of Love: No Ferret Left Behind ⚡

Thor wasn’t supposed to survive.

He and his brother Loki were found abandoned in an apartment — left behind in a cage with no food and no water. We thought they were gone, but they weren’t. They fought. They held on and they made it.

Thor had surgery for his tumor, he coded twice, he shouldn't have survived, but he did. Thor has beat the odds so many times, but unfortunately this battle is one he won't win.

Thor is our big, beautiful gentle giant. He gives the sweetest kisses and has the softest heart. He is proof that even when they are left behind… they still choose love.❤️

We are launching Thor’s legacy of Love: No Ferret Left Behind.

All funds raised will go directly to Support Our Shelters , an incredible organization that supports ferret rescues across the United States. They provide assistance with supplies, melatonin implants, veterinary bills and their help goes wherever it’s needed. Not just one rescue. Not just one state. Every ferret matters.

Thor was once the ferret who was forgotten. Never again.

Let's do this! Let's fill more bowls, provide more medical care and save more babies.

Special thanks go out to Tanya for creating this fundraiser for Support Our Shelters (S.O.S). Funds will go towards Melatonin Implants for shelters. The implant program is one of our most popular programs and with cost increase this year on the purchase of the implants Tanya's thoughtfulness will help us continue to provide implants to shelters.

With thanks to our supporters and Mark Sonder who helped found the Blizzard Memorial Fund, Support Our Shelters (S.O.S) is able to help Orphan Annie who was named by the caring vet at Hayden Road Animal Hospital and came to AZ Ferret Rescue and Shelter after being found in an apartment complex parking lot in terrible shape.
Photo of Annie in the comments; she has made so much progress and getting better with the loving care she is receiving at the vet clinic.
Thank you, supporters, donors, and Diane at AZ Ferret Rescue for being there for her. The Blizzard Memorial Fund is for ferrets who have suffered severe neglect and abuse. You can join us in helping shelter ferrets and making a difference.
