If your dog steals your spot on the couch the second you stand up… you might not be the one making the rules. 😅

Couch claiming, demand behaviors, and ignoring boundaries are common signs that your dog could benefit from clear structure, consistent leadership, and balanced dog training. The good news? These behaviors are absolutely trainable with the right guidance.

If you want to learn how to reclaim your spot, DM us about training. 🐶

Dog training isn't just about dogs. **
When we started Canine Compassion Collective, it wasn't to teach "sit" and "stay." It was because we watched a dog change a family - and we wanted to build something around that.
What we believe:
→ When a child learns to lead a dog with calm and consistency, they learn to lead themselves.
→ Every "bad behavior" is communication, not defiance.
→ A dog reads the room before anyone says a word — staying grounded for them teaches us to regulate ourselves.
→ Trust isn't trained. It's built, one honest session at a time.
That's the collective we're building - where training your dog becomes the way your whole family grows calmer, closer, and more connected.
Your first session is free. Let's meet your dog. O

My recent fixation has been old time paintings with a tale about dogs.

“Llywelyn and His Brave Hound, Gelert” by Gourlay Steell, legend of Prince Llywelyn the Great mistakenly killing his loyal dog Gelert, believing he had harmed his baby, when in reality Gelert had saved the child from a wolf.

The last depiction is what we would have wanted to see.

In life there is always what happened, what we believed happened, and the truth. Sometimes the truth sucks so we recreate the moments we enjoyed kind of like this art. :)

I’m so worried everytime I say “Go to your room” -as a cage que for my dog. My neighbors must think I am telling that to my daughter… 😂
