🌻 GSP Docs Golden Fame “Tex” 🌻

Tex is a handsome 10-year-old gelding by TS Sunnymademefamous (PC Mr Sun Peppy × Dash Ta Fame) and out of Docs Dreamin Jule by Docs Roan Monkey. Several horses by this sire have gone on to make outstanding barrel, rope, and ranch horses. Tex has all the talent, athleticism, and mind to follow suit.

Standing 15.3 hands with plenty of bone and big, solid feet, Tex is built to last. He has the motor, cow sense, and work ethic to make an exceptional ranch horse.

Tex has spent countless long days gathering and moving cows and has logged extensive miles in the backcountry during hunting season. He’s been started on the dummy, tracks cattle naturally, and pulls like a truck.

He’s the kind that is easy to have around—friendly, always the first to meet you at the gate, and good to handle. He stands quietly for the farrier, hauls well, ties, hobbles, and is up to date on vaccinations, deworming and routine care.

💲 $15,000

Looking to start filling spots for client horses starting the 1st of January. Throughout the year, I'll have limited spots available in the spring and fall for starting colts, while also offering tune-ups, conditioning, and finishing services. My training approach exposes horses to a variety of experiences, including cattle, mountain trails, and arena riding, with a focus on developing quiet, responsive horses. I'm open to working with problem horses as well just nothing that is a complete bronc/ runaway.
