Every year on the second Wednesday of October, teddy bears everywhere get their chance to tag along to work or school. Here at Gleaning For The World, we couldn't let the occasion pass without a little celebration of our own!

If you've been following us, you probably know about The Teddy Bear Brigade, a special program that collects new and gently loved stuffed animals to bring comfort, companionship, and smiles to children in need around the world.

Today, we invited a few of our cuddly friends to visit our new Lynchburg office, and let's just say they made themselves right at home! From napping on the sofa to lounging in the windows and keeping a watchful eye on our work, these bears wasted no time settling into their new surroundings. We're beginning to think they might be running the office now!

But behind all the fun is a mission close to our hearts. Every teddy bear collected through our Teddy Bear Brigade has the opportunity to become a source of comfort for a child facing difficult circumstances. Sometimes, something as simple as a soft, cuddly friend can make a world of difference.

Want to help us spread a little more love, one teddy bear at a time?

And tell us, did your teddy bear go to work or school with you today?
