Farm life looks good on Dusty! 🐾🚜💛

Dusty, formerly Dune, is living his best life with his family on a farm in Windsor, Virginia, just outside of Smithfield! With plenty of room to explore and a family to love, this sweet boy has found his little piece of paradise.

Here’s what his family had to say:

“Dusty has been a DREAM puppy since day 1. He transitioned into a busy household with two teenagers, a dachshund, and two kitties without missing a beat. Dusty was completely crate trained when we picked him up at 8 weeks and was well on his way to being potty trained as well. This has made all the difference!

He’s very loving, extremely playful, and super smart! Our 6-year-old dachshund is obsessed with him and apparently has been wishing for a brother! 😆

We cannot say enough good things about RVA Doodles and your breeding program. I cannot imagine Dusty not being a part of our family! We love him so much!”

I’m often asked how I’m able to let my puppies leave. The answer is families like this. ❤️ I’ve been incredibly blessed to find wonderful families who love these babies just as much as I do. Most stay in touch and send updates, allowing me to watch them grow and see how loved they are.

Seeing the joy and smiles that RVA Doodles puppies bring to their families is my “why.” I love bringing happiness into people’s lives through a new family member they’ll love forever. 🐾❤️

This beautiful girl joined her forever family this past week, and her name is now Ginger!

Ginger will remain part of our RVA Doodles program as a future mama, and if her love for puppies is any indication, we have a feeling she’ll be a wonderful one. I’ve truly never seen another dog love puppies as much as Ginger does! 🐾

We already miss her happy, wagging tail and spunky personality around here, but knowing how loved she is makes this next chapter so special.

We’re so thankful for her guardian family, who is taking such wonderful care of her and putting in the time, love, and training to help her become a great canine citizen. We can’t wait to watch our sweet Ginger grow with her family! 🏡💕

They’re also a wonderful place to work. My daughter started working at Charred as a teenager and has continued into adulthood, making this a place that means so much to our family.

Guardian Home Wanted for Bo ❤️

We are looking for a special guardian home for this handsome boy through RVA Doodles! Bo will live with you as a beloved family companion while remaining part of our breeding program. You will receive him at no purchase cost, but becoming a guardian home is a serious commitment with ongoing care expenses and responsibilities. Please read the requirements below.

Bo is a 15-week-old chocolate phantom Goldendoodle who currently weighs 11 pounds. His estimated adult weight is 20 to 25 pounds. He already sleeps in his crate from 9:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.! 🤎

Bo LOVES being outside, so finding someone who enjoys the outdoors as much as he does is especially important. We’d love for him to have a family who includes him in their everyday life and adventures.

📍 Location & Availability

For Bo, we’re looking for a family along the Hull Street corridor, ideally in Magnolia Green, Harpers Mill, Collington, Woodlake, FoxCreek, or a nearby neighborhood.

A flexible weekday schedule is required so you can meet me when he has appointments. A stay-at-home parent or someone who works from home would be an ideal fit.

🐾 The Ideal Home

Our ideal guardian enjoys spending time outdoors and bringing their dog along to dog-friendly breweries, hikes, and social outings. We’re looking for someone who will give Bo plenty of companionship, exercise, and opportunities to explore, while enjoying taking quality pictures of his adventures. Sharing him on social media would be a bonus! 📸

📋 Guardian Home Requirements

• Pet health insurance is required throughout the entire guardian contract, for as long as he is in our program. Trupanion Pet Insurance is preferred.
• A fenced-in yard is required.
• You must plan to remain in the immediate area for the next five years.
• He must live as a beloved indoor family companion.
• Grooming is required every 6 to 8 weeks to keep his coat healthy and well maintained.
• You are responsible for routine veterinary care, including annual wellness exams, vaccinations, heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention, and other routine health needs.
• He must receive regular exercise, training, love, and socialization.
• Monthly updates on how he is doing and frequent, quality photos are required.
• You must be dependable, communicate well, be available for weekday appointment coordination, and follow the terms of the guardian agreement.

Our guardian dogs are cherished members of both their families and our breeding program. We’re looking for someone who values that partnership and will love and care for Bo for life. ❤️

Play with a purpose 🐾🤍

Our puppies spend time climbing, sliding, exploring different textures and surfaces, and of course playing with their littermates.

These little adventures are a fun way to introduce new experiences while encouraging confidence, coordination, curiosity and socialization.

They just think they’re playing. 🥰 We know they’re learning along the way!

Puppy update from RVA Doodles! 🐾🤎

These little ones have been doing SO well and we couldn’t be prouder of their progress.

🌙 Sleeping through the night from about 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM
🏡 Going outside to potty and making great progress with potty training
🌊 Swimming
🚗 Getting comfortable riding in the car and experiencing new sights and sounds
🩺 Today they took an adventure to the vet for their first vaccinations and were absolute champs!

We put so much time into these early weeks, helping our puppies build confidence and experience everyday life before they ever leave us. From crate routines and potty training to car rides, new environments, sounds, people and lots of love, it’s all part of preparing them for life with their families. ❤️

Enjoying the last days of summer with this sweet girl. ☀️

Skye turned out to be quite the little swimmer and truly enjoyed every minute in the water. Those tiny legs were moving, and she looked so proud of herself! ☁️🌊🐾

Experiences like this are about so much more than having fun. By safely introducing our puppies to new sights, sounds, surfaces, and activities, we help them build confidence and learn that new experiences can be exciting. We are constantly socializing and preparing them for all the adventures life may bring.

Endless Summer looks pretty sweet on you, Skye. 🌴☀️
