That little chill in the air this morning can only mean one thing…

It’s officially cuddle buddy weather. ❤️🐾

I woke up at 7 today, rushed around to get everyone taken care of before I left, gave momma her meds got her loaded in the car and ran to Goshen to Pet Smart.
I’m so grateful for the manager who helped me set up an AirTag for Cinnamon. With her being sick ,I didn’t want her to take off and not be able to track her. .. or move her kitten further away and lose them both for good. We got back to the property and momma ran to the spot that overlooked the valley, she called for about 35-40 minutes and then started walking around. I asked her if she wanted to look in the shed, she just sat there… like No… I left my kitten over here! Which was pretty close to the shed. I pulled out my phone and played kitten sounds and momma calling her kitten sounds and all of a sudden here pops out this beautiful little kitten. Momma came running over and at first they were playing “where’d she go?”
When the kitten came out of one hole ,momma was looking in the other one.
Finally they found each other and momma started loving on her.
I set up the drop trap and Boom, I had them both.
I forgot to put the push plate in the trap so I hooked up the transfer trap and told momma to go in and I would get them both in where it’s warm. She went right in and kitten followed .
I’m so glad that parts done, now to get momma healthy and this little spitfire tamed down!
But first… I need a nap!😴

Update… Well I just got home at 10:30, It’s been a very long day but still no kitten. 💔 The homeowner seen it last on Saturday onight, so we’re guessing Momma moved it off her property. I have walked every where i possibly could. I plan on going over with momma tomorrow morning and will release momma this time and hopefully be able to follow her. I ordered an air tag so hopefully we can track her to see where she’s hiding that kitten.
Trying to find this kitten is incredible stressful!💔I also have to wonder if momma has been getting into fights trying to protect her kitten? Poor girl has had new wounds almost every other day!

This is Momma cat Cinnamon Swirl ,
Momma of the spicy kittens in Goshen.
Dr Murphy just called me about momma, she has a really bad infection behind her eye and in her jaw.
Her jaw was broken at one point but has started to heal , it could have been from getting hit by a car or someone kicking her . I’ll ask the vet what she thinks when I pick her up at 4 .
Unfortunately the infection isn’t healing. They are gonna drain it from inside her mouth but we may never get her to a healthy state… this is a nasty infection and serious . We need prayers for this sweet momma kitty.
She can no longer be an outdoor kitty , which was always my plan to find her an indoor home. ..once her kitten gets trapped.
I really pray we get her baby today.
This poor momma needs a ll the prayers she can get! Here she’s been in horrible pain and never once showed it and was still very sweet.
Animals are just amazing!

Today started off wild, I had to remove the 2 feral kittens, 1 feral adult and 1 friendly momma cat from my guest bathroom in a rush, it seems that someone broke the tank and caused a messy leak. They are all in cages at the moment. Luckily I had just enough cages because I took the 4 spicy kids to a friend’s house for a couple of days ,so I could trap momma and the last sibling today.
Karamel Korn didn’t feel good so she had an emergency vet visit. My amazing friend is going to watch them for me for a couple of days so I can get these remaining cats trapped before it gets to cold outside. Momma got into a ground hog trap and ripped up her face pretty good ,so she is currently at the vet this morning.
I ran over this morning and we called her, a half hour later she comes around from the front of the house… she was not happy but we had no choice. Her little cheek is infected and her eye is very swollen. Please say a prayer we get this kitten today and that the rest of our day goes smoothly.
I still have one more cat that needs to be trapped at H&R that’s 45 minutes away from me.
I need to do some serious winterizing of the cattery this week and need good weather to get it done.
If you have cats that need fixed, we can get you the appointment but you’ll have to cover the cost at 120.00 per cat/kitten.

As of right now, we are totally out of funds!
We already have a bill of 500.00 at the spay clinic and can’t add anything else to it until it’s paid off.

Here’s my view for the next 5 hours… Its so beautiful and peaceful.
I love all the wildlife that shows up, I love all of Gods creatures…I wished everyone could learn to love them and live with them instead of harming them.💔💔💔

The kittens love their new toy!
They have definitely outgrown this cage.
Gonna spend the day trying to figure something else out so they have more room to play. They are ready to be spayed and neutered next week so if anyone wants to sponsor their vetting, please reach to me.
Each kitten will be 100.00.
I’ve already paid to have them tested otherwise it would have been 120.00 each.
We currently owe the clinic for Gypsie’s and Beans Spay as well.
We are currently out of funds and vouchers so any help would be appreciated!
