🐾🍕 Pack & Pizza Update 🍕🐾

This month’s Pack & Pizza has been canceled due to not reaching the minimum enrollment needed to run the event.

Thank you to everyone who showed interest! The goal of Pack & Pizza is to provide a valuable group experience, and I want to make sure we have enough dogs participating to create that environment.

We’ll plan to try again next month!

Our next Pack & Pizza is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9th at 7:00 PM at Proper Pup!

This is a small-group evening event focused on:
🐾 Structured social play
🐾 Real-life social skills
🐾 Learning how to confidently handle your dog around other dogs
🍕 And of course… pizza!

Because spots are intentionally limited, I’ll be making a final decision on Friday based on registrations.

If you’d like to attend, please reserve your spot by Friday.

If there isn’t enough interest by then, we’ll cancel this month’s event and try again next month.

💲 $40 per dog (includes 1 person)
➕ Additional humans: $10 each

“My dog is great… until we get to the vet.”

Sound familiar? 🙃

The vet is one of the most stressful environments for a lot of dogs. New smells, unfamiliar people, being handled in ways they don’t understand… it’s a lot.

And this is exactly where most owners feel stuck.

That’s why I offer something a lot of people don’t even realize exists—
👉 I can come with you to your dog’s vet visit.

Not to “fix” your dog in one appointment… but to:

• Show you how to properly handle and advocate for your dog
• Help your dog stay more regulated in a high-stress environment
• Work with your vet team instead of against them
• Give you real-time guidance so you leave feeling confident, not overwhelmed

Because your dog doesn’t just need training at home…
they need support in the real world too.

📢 Proper Pup Policy Reminder

As Proper Pup continues to grow, I wanted to send a friendly reminder regarding our hours and cancellation policy.

🐾 Cancellation Policy
I require a minimum of 48 hours notice before the day of service for all daycare and boarding cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will be charged in full.

🐾 Daycare Hours
• Mondays & Thursdays
• Drop Off: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
• Pick Up: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

🐾 Boarding Hours
• Monday-Friday & Sunday
• Drop Off & Pick Up: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

🚫 Saturdays: CLOSED

These policies and hours have been in place for quite some time and are important for keeping Proper Pup running smoothly and safely for both clients and dogs.

When arrivals and departures occur outside of scheduled hours, it disrupts the routine of the dogs currently in my care, creates unnecessary excitement and stress, and impacts the structure that helps everyone have a successful stay.

I also want to gently remind everyone that while Proper Pup is a business, it is also my home. Maintaining consistent hours allows me to provide the highest level of care to the dogs here while also maintaining healthy boundaries for my personal time.

Thank you all for your understanding, support, and cooperation. I truly appreciate each and every one of you and your pups. ❤️

📅 Proper Pup Availability Update

I wanted to give everyone a quick scheduling update:

🐾 Boarding: Currently fully booked through the end of July

🎓 Board & Train Programs: Currently fully booked through mid-October

I know waiting for availability can sometimes be frustrating, especially when life happens and you need care for your dog sooner rather than later. Trust me, I wish I could accommodate everyone.

At the same time, being booked this far in advance is a testament to the trust my clients place in me, and for that I am incredibly grateful. As a small, home-based business, every dog here receives individualized care, training, and attention. The fact that so many families continue to return year after year means more than I can put into words. 🖤

If you’re considering boarding, training, or daycare services later this year, I strongly encourage planning ahead whenever possible.

Thank you for supporting Proper Pup and allowing me to do what I love every day. 🐾
