Después de ser evaluada por el veterinario, descubrimos que tiene un problema en su ojito y su tercer párpado está anormalmente expuesto. Necesita un procedimiento veterinario y tratamiento para ayudar a recuperar su ojito y evitar que su condición empeore.

🐾 La hermosa Kariño apareció en nuestro refugio exactamente el mismo día en que otra pequeña, Chloe Snowy, partió hacia su Hogar Celestial. 🌈💔
en el refugio no pudieron evitar sentir que quizás existía algún tipo de conexión entre ambas historias.

Kariño se quedó en el refugio y, sabíamos que no podíamos simplemente dejarla en la calle.

On the day honoring the black cat # I must say as the founder and president of this wonderful organization,
That black cats are amazingly loving, very smart, and great companions.
Panther is our second ever black cat, with us very well at his 14 years of age.
I was at Miami Dade Animal Services looking to rescue a small dog to honor the memory of Kirov, a Pomeranian we had rescued literally from the streets of Kendall at an already old age and who was my little shadow and traveling partner for a few years.
As I was standing there, sadly considering which dog to bring home with so many others looking at me, this girl rushed to me with a box, tears in her eyes, begging me to please take them. Her mother did not want them. Miami Dade had no room for them.
I picked the box, saw a beautiful Calico with five little ones, and reassured the girl that I would personally look after them. And so that’s how Tutsie the mom with Kata, Rubio, Sunshine, Augustus, and Panther came to be permanent residents of this sanctuary.
The first black cat ever here was Smoky, born of Kitty, with siblings Angel, Duchess, and Sylvester
They were the first ever feline family born here shortly after we received/rescued Kitty, much before I ever envisioned People for Animal Wellness and A Cat’s Paradise.
And then came many other black beauties, among them
Onyx, Habibi, Shalom, Oreo, Fortuna, Hills, and so many more.
