Say their name like you’re their biggest cheerleader. The second they come to you, reward them.

That’s it. Keep it short, fun, and positive.

A few good reps can go a long way toward making their name something worth responding to.

Everyday Manners is for the dog who knows exactly what you mean… until the rest of the world shows up.

Big Feelings is for the dog who sees another dog and suddenly has A LOT to say about it. 😂

Both classes are small, coached and built around actually practicing with your dog. Not standing around listening to me talk for an hour.

We’re bringing the Happy With Dogs Halloween Enrichment Zone BACK October 9–11.

Bring your dog through and let them sniff, climb, explore, problem solve and try things they probably don’t get to do at home.

Last year we had dogs of every size, age and personality come through, and watching them figure everything out was probably my favorite part of the entire expo.

And yes, your dog gets to participate.

NEW at HWD 👀 Meet Everyday Manners!

This beginner group class is all about building the skills that make everyday life with your dog easier. Better leash manners, better focus around distractions, clearer communication, and a solid foundation you can keep building on.

Puppy just getting started? Adult dog who needs the basics? Senior who could use a refresher? Dogs 20 weeks and up are welcome.

We now have TWO ways to join us in Livingston County:
