Looking for some advice for my beautiful boy Merlin. He has an automatic litter box that he has used all his life (9 months) and has always been happy with it and his non-scented clumping litter. The past week he has suddenly started pooping and peeing behind the front door. I’ve scrubbed the area with enzyme cleaner but he keeps going back. He’s neutered and I’ve got the pheromone diffusers to help calm him. He’s not an anxious cat and his behaviour otherwise hasn’t changed. Still eating, drinking and playful as normal. No UTI and not in pain. He’s a happy chilled boy and I’m just baffled by this. It all came to a head yesterday when my robovac ran over one of his deposits and tracked it all over my house 🤢. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Serious question to you all... I have 1 boy who can't stay off of me and another boy (both the same age that prefers to stay by him self 90% of the time... is this normal
