Happy 4th birthday to our Maggie Sue! These years have flown by, and we love seeing how far she has come. She is such a sweet, goofy, and loving dog who always puts a smile on our faces. We are so thankful she is a part of our family and couldn’t imagine life without her. 🐾🎂

Good night to work the dogs off the ranger and try to get them to open up. Maggie had find a cool find on this first one. I love watching the dogs run full speed and slam on the brakes

Our project for this spring is to rid of the step and getting Maggie to open up her run again after being brought in for NAVHDA last year. I love looking back at her overall progress from last year to now.

Goose pointed his first woodcock today at 6 months old. This was his 8th woodcock ever seen. Very excited to see him keep developing!

Last night I saw this grouse eating the buds off a tree that fell down. Probably not a good sign for the birds if they have to eat off the down trees that the ice has broke off of. All the buds in the woods are covered with 1/4” to 1/2” of ice. Hoping it warms up soon, these birds gotta eat too.

Since Friday, we’ve had crazy weather here and last night, knocked out a lot of power in our area. We’re praying for everyone to stay warm and stay safe and hopefully training season is right around the corner again storm
