💔 I’VE BEEN WAITING SINCE JANUARY. PLEASE DON’T LET MY NEXT STOP BE BOARDING.💔

Hi. It’s me, Cletus. 🐾 And I need to tell you something.

I’ve been with Big Dogs Don’t Cry since January. That’s months of waiting for a family to notice me, fall in love with me, and finally decide that I’m THEIR boy.

I’m still waiting. 💔

I’m a hound with a whole lot of love to give. I love other dogs, and I’ve even gone to training with someone who understands that I do best with consistency, clear boundaries, and someone willing to help me succeed. I WANT to please you. I WANT to get it right. I just need someone to believe in me.

And now, I have until OCTOBER 14TH to find a foster or an adopter.

Here’s the thing about Big Dogs Don’t Cry: we’re a foster-based rescue. We don’t have a shelter where dogs can stay while they wait for their families. If I can’t find a foster or an adopter, I may have to go into boarding. 😔

And after waiting since January for a home of my own, the thought of spending even more time in a kennel instead of a home just breaks everyone's hearts.

I don’t need someone to be perfect. I need someone to give me a chance.

Someone who will see past the fact that I’m still learning. Someone who will celebrate my progress. Someone who will let me be a dog, make memories, and finally experience what it feels like to belong.

I’ve been waiting for my forever for MONTHS.

🚨🚨 BREAKING NEWS: MUFFIN HAS BEEN DETAINED FOR IMPERSONATING A FLOOR CLEANING PRODUCT. 🚨🚨

👮‍♀️ Her charges?
1️⃣ Looking like a mop when she arrived.
2️⃣ Being so ridiculously cute that nobody could concentrate on anything else.
3️⃣ Having approximately 47,000 zoomies per square inch of body.

HELLO, HUMAN SERVANTS. 💅🏻 My name is MUFFIN, and I am here to address the allegations.

First of all, YES. I came into Big Dogs Don’t Cry looking like somebody lost a fight with a Roomba. I was white and gray, approximately 12 pounds of tangled fluff, and giving “Victorian ghost who lives in an abandoned beauty salon.” 😭😂

The BDDC glam squad took one look at me and said, “We need to call in an emergency stylist.”

SO THEY SHAVED ME. 😱

Listen. I did not approve this makeover. I did not sign a release. I was not consulted by my attorney.

BUT APPARENTLY, MY HAIR WILL GROW BACK, and when it does? BABY. THE COMEBACK TOUR IS GOING TO BE LEGENDARY. 💁🏻‍♀️✨

Until then, I am rocking my summer body like the tiny, fabulous, slightly over-caffeinated supermodel I am.

💋 A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME:

🐾 I'm a 1.5-year-old Shih Tzu mix. Basically, a designer handbag with legs.

🐾 I weigh 12 pounds. That's 12 pounds of pure personality and absolutely zero respect for personal space.

🐾 Other dogs? LOVE THEM. BIG ONES, LITTLE ONES, MEDIUM ONES. I believe in networking across all departments.

🐾 Crate time? I'm familiar with the concept. I have attended orientation.

🐾 Potty training? We're still in negotiations. I understand the assignment, but sometimes I submit my work to the wrong department. We're a work in progress, people. 🚽😂

🐾 ENERGY LEVEL? YES. I have the energy of a toddler who found an espresso machine and the confidence of a woman who just got a fresh set of acrylic nails.

You want a quiet little dog who sleeps 22 hours a day?

🐾💖 BREAKING NEWS: I HAVE OFFICIALLY TRAINED A HUMAN TO BE MY DAD! 💖🐾

Hi, everybody! It’s me, ARCADIA! 🐶🎀

I have some VERY important news to share… I’m officially retiring from the puppy dating scene because I FOUND MY FOREVER DAD! 😍🐾

His name is Luke, and guess what? He picked ME! Out of all the puppies in the world, he decided that I was the little girl who belonged in his heart and his home. 🥹💕 Now I get a forever family, a dad to love me, and a lifetime of making memories together. I think that’s what you call hitting the puppy jackpot! 🏆🐶

But before I ride off into my happily-ever-after, I have two very special people to thank. ❤️

💔 REIGN UPDATE: THIS LITTLE GIRL IS STILL FIGHTING. ❤️‍🩹

For three days, our sweet Reign has been receiving IV fluids as her little body fights to get better. And while she still isn't wanting to eat, we are holding onto hope with everything we have.

Tonight, baby girl gets to go HOME with her foster family, the Broach family, where she can continue her recovery surrounded by the comfort, safety, and love she deserves. ❤️

We suspect Reign may be dealing with severe gastrointestinal issues, but right now, we're taking things one day at a time. We don't have all the answers yet. We don't know how long her road to recovery will be. But we do know this little girl deserves every chance to get better.

She is more than a medical bill. More than a sick puppy. She is a life that matters. A little girl who deserves to feel good, to eat without feeling sick, to play without pain, and to grow up knowing what it means to be loved.

To everyone who donated, shared her story, prayed for her, and worried about her...THANK YOU. You helped give Reign the chance to keep fighting. And to the Broach family, thank you for opening your home and your hearts to this precious girl when she needs you most. Fostering a sick animal takes a special kind of love, and we are so grateful you are hers. ❤️
