Update on a old found lab mix 🐶. Read story below. For anyone who would like to help with Lolas upcoming dental we made a GoFund me for her. We are also great full for any donation of wet food as that is all she can eat. 🐶

Just wanted to hop on here and give a update on the recent post made by me and my neighbor regarding a sweet old dog that was found in OXR .

🔦 We searched for owners with post, Facebook, local shelters, and a microchip, with no luck.

Last Monday I took the old lady to a vet. Unfortunately our suspicions about her jaw being broken a long time ago was confirmed. She is not able to chew any dry food. 🦷 She will need a dental as well as her teeth are in terrible shape.

She was diagnosed with stage 3 heart murmur.

We had her shots done, heartworm and flea and tick prevention update too.

😭 The vet believes she was most likely chained up her whole life outside which resulted in a pretty bad neck irritation. After her first professional grooming her cysts and broils started to open up and drain, which was just nasty. All because someone decided that they didn’t want to take care of the dog over the years ( giving benefit of the doubt here), or didn’t have the money.

She is on 2 different meds and has been shaved so that I can see and tend to all her skin problems.

I was planing on finding her a home after the vet check but 1k $ later and the diagnoses , plus the time I know she will need in order to heal, my husband and I decided to keep her.

☺️Her new name is Lola which was chosen by our neighborhood sweet son.

Lola may not have a long time left on this earth, but we sure will make sure she is happy and never again sad or lonely. She now has 6 brothers and sister to play with 😂 😝

Found dog. Lab mix. White face markings older. Has been vet checked and treated for fleas no microchip.
Please, share as much as possible let’s find this old girl her home. She is super scared and depressed. She must be missing her humans.
