🐾❤️ Two new places, twice the fun! ❤️🐾

Oh boy, did I have an exciting day today! 🐶💕

Mom took me to TWO brand-new places for therapy dog visits!

Our first stop was the OSF Center for Health Therapy Department in Streator, where I met some wonderful new friends! I got lots of love, cuddles, and attention from the therapy staff. And let me tell you, I was pretty happy being held and spoiled! 🥰🐾

But that wasn’t all! I even got to try a little therapy myself on their therapy steps! Who knew being a therapy dog could mean getting a little therapy of my own? 😂🐾

Then we were off to our second stop, the OSF Therapy Department at the Ottawa YMCA, where I got to meet even more wonderful people and spread a little Willa Mae love! ❤️

What a fun day making new friends, sharing smiles, and collecting cuddles along the way!

A BIG thank-you to both therapy departments for welcoming Mom and me! I sure hope we get to visit again soon!

A little late posting, but we finally found a minute to catch up! 🐾❤️

What a busy and wonderful weekend! We spent Friday visiting our friends at OSF St. Paul in Mendota and Sunday spreading smiles at OSF St. Anthony in Rockford! 🐶💕

It’s always so much fun seeing everyone, sharing some love, and hopefully brightening a few days along the way! ❤️🐾

🐾💙💛 It’s a GREAT day to be a Blackstone Bear! 💛💙🐾

I had such a fun Friday hanging out with all my friends at Blackstone School! There were lots of smiles, pets, and happy kids—just the way I like it! 🐶❤️

Then on Saturday, we were off to Ottawa for a little training! A girl has to keep practicing her skills, you know! 🐾🎓

What a great way to spend the weekend!

What a GREAT day I had today! 💜🐾💛

I got to spend the day at Mendota High School celebrating Homecoming with all of my friends! Of course, I had to dress for the occasion in my purple and gold! 💜💛

There were lots of smiles, pets, and Homecoming excitement, and I had so much fun celebrating with the kids! 🐾🎉

Last Friday was SO much fun! 🐾💜 I got to visit all my friends at Northbrook for the first time this school year, and it was so wonderful seeing all those smiling faces again! 🥰

And guess what? This Friday I’m off to Lincoln School! 🎒🐶 I can’t wait to see everyone there, give out some Willa Mae love, and hopefully collect a few pets and belly rubs along the way! 💕🐾

Whew! What a busy weekend for this little therapy pup! 🐾💜

Friday, I visited my friends at Mendota High School 🎒, Saturday I stopped by Allure in Mendota 🥰, and Sunday I wrapped up the weekend with a visit to OSF Saint Paul Hospital. 🏥💕

And somehow, in between all those visits, we found time to work on our next skit 🎭 AND practice for our upcoming screening with HOPE Animal-Assisted Crisis Response! 🐾💙 I’ve been one busy little girl!

My little paws may be tired, but my heart is very full. 💜 I loved seeing so many old friends and making some wonderful new ones along the way.

Now I think I’ve earned a nap… or maybe two! 🐶💤💕

What a fun Friday at Northview! 🐾❤️

I had the BEST time visiting my friends at Northview and helping celebrate the students who worked hard reading throughout the summer! 🎉📚 The readers earned a special pizza party, and the other students joined them for lunch. 🍕 Way to go, readers — Willa Mae is SO proud of you! 🐶👏❤️

And there was one little face I was EXTRA excited to see… my girl! 🥰❤️ I think the smiles on both of our faces say it all!

Today I’m heading to Northview in Peru, and I can’t wait to see all of the students and staff again! I’ve missed all the smiles, pets, and fun that come with school visits. 🥰

🐾 Willa Mae needs a few practice helpers! 🐾

As we prepare for our upcoming HOPE Animal-Assisted Crisis Response screening, I’d love to find a few people that Willa doesn’t know very well who would be willing to help us practice some real-life scenarios.

We might ask you to pretend to be upset or crying, speak loudly or excitedly, approach us unexpectedly, use a cane or walker, or help with a few other situations that Willa could encounter while working as a crisis-response therapy dog. Nothing difficult—we just want to see how she responds and help her learn to remain calm and comfortable in unusual situations.

If you know Willa but she doesn’t know you very well and you’d be willing to give us a little of your time, please send me a message. We would really appreciate the help! ❤️🐾
