Her litter had come in from Illinois at a high kill rescue. I don't have much of her background other than the litter was motherless. All the pups were adorable but Piper (Ariel) at the time stood out to me. She was smaller than the rest and came up quietly to the kennel door, sat down and just looked at me. Her brothers & sisters had come up as well but were loud and fighting for attention. In th
at moment, this quiet, patient little pup captured my heart. When my fiance came to meet me she had disappeared into the bed of snuggling pups. When we got to the kennel and I said to him "Now I don't know which one she is", it took just a moment and she popped her head up and walked on over to us. She was the sweetest little 11lb puppy ever. We had picked each other. She is now a 54lb spoiled rotten dog but she will always be my puppy. She loves to go walking and meet new animals and people. Since I had lost my job I thought what better way to make some extra money and still get to spend time with my pup than to offer to walk other dogs as well! Also great for puppy socialization, Piper is very patient and friendly and has never met another pup that she didn't like. A year later we found another lucky pup, Jasmine, who was 4 months old. She was purchased from a breeder (Maltese, Yorkie mix) for $400 and the family gave her up less than 1 month later! She was just what we were looking for in a new addition. Quite opposite of Piper, she was only 6lbs of attitude when we adopted her , she grew into an adorable 9.5lb ball of fluff, she did not lose the attitude ;) While she was definitely much different than Piper, (potty training took a few months rather than a few days) she has brought much happiness to our family and Piper LOVES having a constant playmate around (most of the time… LOL! )
They both have a great time meeting all our new "clients" and the best part of their day is jumping in the Jeep and wondering where we’re going next (although, the bank is one of the favorite stops, the teller ALWAYS gives out biscuits) Now those are 2 Lucky Pups! :)

Piper and/or Jasmine are also available to accompany me on my outings. Both are very socialized and love meeting new animal friends and showing how lucky they are. This is a "perk" of my business that I do not charge for as I feel it is very important for all types of animals to meet and greet new animal friends. Great for socialization and temperament. This is a great opportunity for new puppies! (vaccinations UTD and non-aggressive is a requirement)
