Charlie's Crusaders Pet Rescue We strive to help dogs be adopted in the PA/NJ/MD/DE/CT/NY area. We adopt up to 3 hours from Lancaster, PA or our other foster bases.

We are a 100% volunteer based, non-profit organization of dog lovers whose mission is to rescue dogs that are abandoned, homeless, neglected, or awaiting their fate at a high kill shelter. We are based out of Horn Lake, MS on the border of TN, and have foster bases throughout eastern PA and parts of NJ.

👋 Hi friends! I’m Charles and I’m looking for a foster or forever home in Central PA!

I’m an 18 month old long haired small dog mix (maybe Shetland sheepdog, papillon and shepherd of sorts?) and I weigh about 22 lbs.

I was a little nervous in my southern foster home at first but now that I trust my surroundings, I’m a happy, lovable pup who loves to greet you with my sweet smile 😊

Brandi is pretty calm for a puppy and loves to cuddle. She loves every human and dog that she meets! Brandi has been around cats and is interested in them. She will run and bark at them and then lick her new little friends. Brandi is doing really well with crate training and is working hard on her house training. We would love for her to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Brandi is up to date on her puppy shots and will need to be spayed when age appropriate.

How adorable is Victor?? 😍 Victor is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Lancaster, PA on Saturday, 7/18 to meet more prospective families. Who wants foster this cutie? 🥰

Victor was shy at first but quickly settled down and became a loving, attentive dog. He likes to welcome you awake in the morning to start your day off smiling.☺️ Victor is currently house trained to a doggie door and may need patience while adjusting to a new process. He is up to date on his shots now and neutered.

My name is Lucy and I’ve been with Charlie’s Crusaders since December 2024. I thought I’d be settled into a forever home by now, but that hasn’t happened yet 💔 Do you think maybe I could be your new best friend? 🙏🏻

I’m a 3.5 year old lab mix that weighs 66 lbs. I love car rides, adventures, playing in water (I’ll be your best hiking buddy!), toys, and cuddling up on the couch.

“Gracey was a perfect traveler on our 3 hour drive to the beach. She met new people and was so well behaved. Everyone falls in love as soon as they meet her. She loves being outside watching birds and squirrels. The potty training is going well, she will go a few days without an accident. Also she does well in her crate when I leave the house.”

⭐ It's Training Day! ⭐

👀 Allie is paying close attention to her next "command." It doesn't hurt that her "trainer" has yummy treats to give her.

🐶 Allie is a sweet cattle dog/hound mix (best guess) that only weighs 29 pounds! She has been enjoying her vacation with new friends, but would really like a forever family of her own. Hopefully, with another playful dog, that could be her snuggle buddy too.

💜 She has been very good with the 8-year old child in her vacation home. Allie definitely enjoys playing with the other dogs, but takes time out of playing for love from her fosters.

Buddy urgently needs a foster or adopter, and we need A LOT of SHARES to help him finally find the right person. PLEASE SHARE! 🙏🏻❤️

Buddy is a 2-year-old, 90 lb Husky/Pyrenees/Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix fostered in Pottstown, PA. He’s a friendly, people-loving boy who enjoys playing with other dogs, but does best with female dogs and should not be placed with male dogs, small dogs, or small children due to his size and rough play style.

Buddy is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands. Like many Husky/Pyrenees mixes, he’s smart, active, and independent. He will need continued training for leash manners, jumping, and counter surfing. He can be protective of his home and occasionally howls.

Buddy’s ideal home will have a securely fenced yard and an active family committed to providing him with plenty of exercise, structure, and ongoing training.

🐾 Meet the Adoptable Pet of the Week from Charlie's Crusaders Pet Rescue ! 🐾

Molly is looking for her forever home. She is a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Lab Mix (best guess) estimated at 4.5 months old. She is a small girl who weighs a little over 20 pounds. Molly and her family had a rough start to their life. They were found as strays and taken to a local animal shelter. Thankfully, we were able to find someone to foster this sweet family, while we found foster homes in PA for them.

Now Molly is in a foster home in Lititz, PA, and is thriving. She is a sweet, snuggly puppy that loves belly rubs and cuddling. She is a submissive dog that loves playing with her foster mom's dogs. Molly has become especially attached to the rescue female Pomsky in her foster home. She is also good with kids. We're not certain how she will be with cats, as she has never lived in a home with one. She does love to chase the squirrels in her foster's backyard, but what dog doesn't?

Molly is very smart and very treat-motivated! She already knows the commands for "sit" and "come." Molly also knows to stop unwanted behaviors when she hears the word "No." When she does steal a shoe and run with it, she gives it back without a fight. As a puppy, Molly is still learning new things. She gets excited to see people and kids and will jump up on them, but with consistency and training, she is getting better.

She is crate-trained and knows to put herself to bed at night in the crate for a treat. Potty-training has gone really well with Molly. She has not had any accidents in over a week.

Molly is up to date on her puppy vaccinations and has an appointment to be spayed at the end of July 2026.

We have found someone willing to foster one of these sweet babies, but we REALLY don’t want the other to be left behind all alone! 😔
