Delta Bluffs Greater Good (GG for short) will more than likely be one of only 2 rabbits that I’ll have to show til spring 😑. He’s gaining weight like crazy after the summer heat, so that’s a plus 🤷‍♂️

Since it hasn’t been hotter 🥵 than the hinges on the gates of hell for a bit now, the rabbits have been eating like crazy (and the feed bill is gonna suffer 😑). But I broke out the 4 babies that were born before summer to weigh them again. They’re making good progress and fingers crossed 🤞 they’ll catch up to what they’re supposed to weigh. The first is a buck that I really like and the second a doe I’m thinking about keeping back. They’re having bad hair days 🙄

The “I have zero impulse control” bug hit again 😑. Buttttt I saw this young buck and against my wife’s wishes, he’s coming home with me 😅. I’ll pay the consequences later 🤷‍♂️. Green Gates Arizona “Zo” will hopefully fill a need for new blood next spring….if I’m still around to see it 😬😅

If there’s one thing I would do some sketchy sh*t to get 😑 would be a climate controlled building for the rabbits 😭. The summer heat really slowed down the growth of the only litter I have currently, even with fans and frozen water bottles. But the temps have dropped quite a bit here, so the feed intake has gone up 🙌🏻. Weighed the 5 babies and they all added a few ounces this week.

Almost tis the season for some bunny lovin 😅. Posed pictures are my kryptonite 😑.

Anybody else have that one doe you cant wait to breed? 😑. For me it’s Delta Bluffs Bristol. Breeding season and football are literally the only reasons I care about fall 😬. Sorry pumpkin spice folks 🤷‍♂️

This post isn’t directed towards any one person, but if the shoe fits 🤷‍♂️ lace em up I reckon 😅. Some of yall show rabbit breeders are too advanced at your big ages to be acting like hormonal high schoolers 😬 with all the drama. It’s really simple: breed your rabbits, take the rabbits to shows, get your lil ribbon and photo taken, go home, mind ya business and repeat 🥴. They’re rabbits after all, not your 7 year old first born that plays travel ball that you are sure they’re gonna make the big leagues 😅. I’m fairly new to this and in my limited amount of experience, some people need to be hosts on The View so they can at least get paid to gossip 🤣.
