Meet Jet
A very handsome seven month old canoe British lab who is ready for an adventure.

He is an incredibly sweet, social, and loving boy with a wonderful personality. He enjoys being around people, loves the water, and has a natural love for retrieving. He is an easy trainer with a good on and off switch.

He should mature to around 60 lbs full grown, making him a great size for an active family or someone looking for a loyal companion.

🐾 Every rescue deserves a happy ending... and Skye certainly found hers.

Skye's journey didn't begin the easiest. As a rescue, she had a rough start in life and found herself in two different homes through no fault of her own. But sometimes the road to "home" takes a few extra turns.

Today, she's living her best life in sunny Arizona! 🌵 From fun shopping trips (and rocking adorable hats!) to being surrounded by love every single day, Skye is exactly where she belongs.

Watching her blossom into the happy, carefree girl she was always meant to be is such a wonderful reminder that every dog deserves patience, understanding, and a family who sees just how special they are.

We're so incredibly happy for you, sweet Skye. Here's to many more adventures, sunny days, and a lifetime of love. 🐾

Born October 28, 2024, April is looking for a special place to call home.

April began her journey in a service dog in training program but has decided she'd rather pursue a career as a full-time companion. While she enjoys learning and working with her people, she isn't a fan of busy public environments, so we're looking for a family where she can simply enjoy being a beloved companion.

April can be a little reserved when meeting new people and may need a little time to settle into a new home. Once she feels comfortable, she's an incredibly sweet, affectionate girl who forms a loving bond with her family. A little patience in the beginning will be rewarded with a loyal companion.

🐾 House trained with a consistent routine

🐾 Kennel trained

Lil cutie alert!

🐾 Every Great Labrador Starts Somewhere 🐾

The journey doesn't begin with training. It begins with trust, curiosity, and confidence.

A puppy that is encouraged to explore, think, and experience the world at its own pace develops the foundation needed for whatever path lies ahead. Whether that future includes hunting, competition, service work, or simply being a wonderful family companion, those first experiences matter.

It's amazing how much potential can fit into such a little package. 💛

We are excited to support Mauri with the growth of Duckhill University as the page expands beyond puppies into education, training, puppy development, working dog foundations, and sharing knowledge with the dog community. 🐾

Our page has changed from Duckhill Puppies to Duckhill University.

We will still be showcasing puppies from our Duckhill Kennels North program however this page will be growing into something much bigger than just puppies alone. Duckhill University will focus heavily on education, training, puppy development, working dog foundations, and sharing knowledge with the dog community.

We are excited to continue sharing training information, educational content, and insights inspired in part by Mr. Robert Milner’s training notes, philosophies, and ideas, along with concepts and experiences from our own programs and journey with dogs.

Whether your interest is future working dogs, puppy raising, training foundations, or simply learning more about dogs, we hope this page becomes a place where education, growth, and a love for dogs come together. 💙
