Remember August and April? Look at them now. 🤍
They’re four months old — purebred Great Pyrenees, brother and sister. Their coats have come in so soft and fluffy and white, and they’ve got the double dew claws on their back legs, just like Pyrenees are supposed to. They really are pretty puppies.
They’re with a great foster family that has three adult Pyrenees and kids, so they’re well socialized and just genuinely sweet, gentle dogs.
And they’re not the only ones — these two came from a litter of 14, and we still have several puppies looking for homes.
They’re available for adoption in Chicago and the Northeast. If one of these pups sounds like your kind of dog, message us!!

Meet this little girl — found at a gas station on Summer Avenue in Memphis. All 7 pounds of her, matted to the bone, and completely alone.
I made a sincere promise — more than once — that I would not take any more dogs until some of the ones already in rescue found their forever homes.
And then she showed up.
How could I say no to this face?
She has a long road to feeling good again. She’ll need to be shaved down under anesthesia, vaccinated, tested for heartworm, spayed, and once that matted coat is gone — a proper groom, probably for the first time in her sweet little life.
She needs a name. We’d love your ideas.

She’s at an emergency clinic in Memphis and she needs a foster or adopter. Swipe to see the video — a little girl is dressing her up, fussing all over her — and this dog loves every second of it.
A man tied her to an electrical outlet under a bush, left a pan of water, and drove away. She deserves a second chance.
2 years old, 65 lbs, heartworm negative, dewormed, on Heartgard and flea prevention, believed to be spayed. Great with kids and other dogs.
If we can’t find a foster or adopter, she will end up at Memphis Animal Services, and we are scared for her. As long as she stays out of the shelter, she can go directly into boarding while we find her the right home.
Can’t foster or adopt? Donations toward her care are gratefully accepted.
Transport to Chicago or the Northeast can be arranged.

Look at this sweet, adorable guy! He’s the perfect size, super cute, and ready to steal someone’s heart. He’s such a good little guy and deserves a loving home where he can finally relax and be loved.

• About 7 months old.
• Around 30 pounds.
• Super sweet and ready for his next chapter.
• Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

He needs a foster or forever home so he doesn’t have to go back to the high-kill Memphis shelter. If anyone in the Northeast or Chicago is interested in fostering or adopting, message us and we can get him to you.
