I have the website http://4thek9s.com and an email account [email protected] and this page. Initially the page will house pictures of jewelry that I've made and wish to sell for donations to dog rescue organizations (well, animal rescue broadly, but I have a special affinity for dog rescue). People can purchase the jewelry for a donation to either one of the rescue groups that I'l

l be working with OR to a rescue group of their choice. When I receive confirmation from the rescue group as to the person's donation to the group I will ship the jewelry to the person (or another individual they choose - in the case of a gift). Our donation (Jerry-spouse and me) is the supplies to make the jewelry, the time to make the jewelry, and the shipping of the jewelry. People get something for their donations. I've still got things to think out with this plan. I'd like to involve others in offering jewelry for donations to rescue groups. I need to get the website set up so that it will provide easily accessible information on a variety of groups and easy clicks to their PayPal or other donation sites. The items in this album are made by hand, one ring at a time, using chainmaille techniques. Some designs incorporate beads while others are rings only. I can change out the clasp on any of them and make them shorter or longer if needed. Think of this as a "donation with benefits" - you donate money that you may have planned to donate anyway and you'll get your choice of jewelry for that donation. I'll need confirmation from Lisa Trenthem that you donated the amount requested. Please share the album so we can raise MORE money to benefit Real Good Dog Rescue! Thank you!

I need to do a better picture, but this is a basic red ornament with chain maille. In addition to the jump rings, I used various green & red crystals and tiny gold chain to fashion a lovely piece. WAY too time consuming to do them for an entire tree, but lovely, for sure. Enjoy!

Whirlybird Genie Earrings

The whirlybird is a fun chain maille "thingie"! These whirlybirds were turned into genie in a bottle style earrings by using Rondelle spacers, faceted beads, and 3 lengths of gold-style chain. Very light. Playful!
