Support your local ranchers. Send medical supplies for their livestock today.

Loyal customers and friends, in the last 24 hours, there is lots of burned livestock from the Ross fire in Texas with over 50,000 acres burned, and still growing. Tomorrow morning we are headed there to deliver PF Wonder Salve to Rancher Navy - Texas Fire Relief - Farm and Ranch so it can be used immediately.

Here is how help: Order PF Wonder Salve on the site and use discount code: ROSSFIRE70

All product donations bought with this code will deliver directly to the area by PF Wonder Salve, or by Rancher Navy.

Other ways to help: Share this post with friends.

Thank you for your loyal support this busy summer. Please keep everyone affected in your prayers. Order here: https://pfwondersalve.com/
Your donation will not ship to you, it will deliver directly to the burn victims, or Rancher Navy. This discount is only available for the Ross Fire victims.

Red flags when choosing a trainer.... Not everyone with a saddle and a social media following is a professional.

If you’re looking for a trainer/instructor, here are things that should make you pause:

🚩 They never ride with anyone better than them.
🚩 They can’t explain why they’re doing something, just that “it works.”
🚩 Every horse in the barn needs routine injections/maintenance.
🚩 Young horses are doing advanced maneuvers before they have a foundation.
🚩 They blame the horse for every problem.
🚩 They’re constantly changing bits, gadgets, and equipment to fix issues
🚩 Their solution to confusion is always “more work.”
🚩 You've never seen them change their mind on anything
🚩 They aren't open to new ideas or methods

A good trainer should be able to explain the process, play the long game, prioritize longevity, welcome outside eyes, adjust without ego.

And here’s a big one: If everything looks dramatic, urgent, and intense… it probably is. In fact, my rule of thumb is if you are the slightest bit uncomfortable with how they do things when you're there, assume its 3x worse when you aren't around. Are you comfortable with that?

Good training often looks boring. Quiet. Repetitive. Intentional. Even in our riding lessons, we prioritize safe and slow, over rushed progress.

Good trainers can be hard to find, but there's plenty out there. Choose wisely!

What makes a good trainer?

I believe a good trainer is someone who helps a horse be the best it can be.

I believe there are great trainers that never win—some never even compete.

Some trainers are also great competitors.

Either way, I still believe that the best trainers help a horse to be as good as it can be.

Thanks Dwight for the swag!
Quick turn around time and a great product, despite Dwight being a Vikings sympathizer 🤷🏻‍♀️ 10/10 I will be customizing more!

“One Acre Ranch wanted a way to rep their logo every day while staying hydrated, and OCC delivered! 💧🔆 Even had to put aside my SKOL pride for one of their Cheese Head crew, but hey, anything for the client (kind of 😉). Stay hydrated and repping in style! 🏈🍻”
