🐾 The first‑ever Eastern Shore Animal Control Pack Walk was a true success!
Every adoptable dog in the shelter enjoyed a relaxed, happy stroll through the town of Onancock. They got to:

🌅 Join us this morning for the first‑ever Shelter Pack Walk with Friends of Animal Control Eastern Shore!

🐾 Start Time & Place: We’ll kick off bright and early at 8:30 a.m. from the Onancock marina, where the adoptable pups of Eastern Shore Animal Control will be strutting their stuff around town.

📇 Meet the Dogs:
Each handler will have a business card and info about the dog they’re walking. If a pup steals your heart, just talk to the handler — they’ll happily stop so you can meet them.8:30 a.m.

🚫 Leave Your Pets at Home:
To give the shelter dogs their moment to shine, we kindly ask that personal pets stay home today.

It’s happening!
This Saturday, the shelter dogs will be strolling through Onancock for our first‑ever Pack Walk, and we want the community to come cheer them on.

📍 Meet‑Up: Onancock Marina
⏰ Time: 8:30 AM
📣 Event: A joyful walk through town as the dogs strut their adoptable selves

Each handler will have a printout with the dog’s photo, name, and all adoption info, so if someone catches your eye, you’ll have everything you need to know right there on the spot.

🐾🚶‍♂️ PACK WALK ALERT! 🚶‍♀️🐾
Join the shelter crew and Brave buddies Saturday, June 20th as the adoptable shelter dogs hit the streets of Onancock for a special Pack Walk!

🕣 Time: 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM�📍 Location: Onancock - starting at the marina 🛥️

This is your chance to meet some truly amazing dogs outside of the shelter environment. Walk alongside them, watch their personalities shine, and chat with their handlers to learn more about each pup.

The goal is simple: get them seen.
❤️ Seen by potential adopters.�❤️ Seen by people who will share their stories via every social media you can think of so take pictures lots of pictures!!�❤️ Seen by people who will cheer them on.�❤️ Seen by the families who may one day call them their own.

These dogs deserve every opportunity to find their forever homes, and we’re hoping this walk helps make that happen.

We do ask that you please leave your own dogs at home for this event!!!

If you’re interested in adopting and would like to schedule a meet-and-greet with your dog with one of these dogs, we’d be happy to arrange that separately—just not during the Pack Walk itself.

The Brave Buddies program is growing, and the shelter is still looking for dedicated community members to join the team. This program supports both foster dogs and shelter pups by giving them the outings, confidence building, and real‑world exposure they need to become adoption‑ready.

Friends of Animal Control Eastern Shore provides everything needed — all they need now is you.

What Brave Buddies Do
- Take shelter or foster dogs on planned outings
- Help dogs build confidence and social skills
- Give dogs the exposure they need for adoption
- Support dogs who need extra encouragement

Each outing helps dogs become more socialized, more relaxed, and more prepared for their future homes.

Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Must pass a background check
- Must want to help dogs grow, learn, and shine
