Adopt a parrot and support our cause with a donation! MARS is located in Melbourne Beach Florida in a 1925 house within a tropical seaside community. We provide boarding, and do wings, nails and beak grooming. We have a program called Birdy Boot Camp, which provides for troubled birds to stay for a month of rehab. We are a complete adoption center but now due to liability and Covid, pre qualification is now a requirement for adoption. It is a simple but necessary process. Thank you for reading.

It’s been a week, hasn’t it?

We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve celebrated some very special souls, and some of our wet chickens had what can only be described as a spiritual experience 🫣

So today, we’re keeping it simple.

Just Loka enjoying his favorite treat, because sometimes a happy bird and a good strawberry are enough to make your day a little better ❤️ Hope you & your flock have good one ✌🏼

Misting, spraying and giving these guys showers is mostly for their health and well being, but Giz & Mango don’t seem to know that. To them, it’s a full-on spiritual experience 🪽 Wings out. Completely surrendering to the moment 🤍

And make sure you listen until the end… that’s one of our boarders, Barney, who apparently was having a spiritual experience of his OWN. 🤣🤣🤣
