** School Vacation Week Monday 4/20 - 4/24 **

We’re heading into spring ready for some sunshine! School vacation week is upon us and with it comes visits from old friends and longer stays for some new members of the pack. A little a break from the normal routine but still a familiar pace for our dogs as they move in for a fun week at camp fluxpack 🥰

Wagging tails of recognition in the lobby lead to sighs of relief from mom or dad as they hand over supplies for their best friend. The trust in knowing their pup is in safe hands means no worries to plague them as they set off for their adventures, and this is the whole reason we do what we do 🧡

Wednesday mornings aren’t complete without Skippy’s morning run! Active sporting dog mixes like Skippy need their natural biological outlets, which include running! This clever boy is well trained and has an ecollar on board so has access to our fields off leash, but something about running as hard as he can for as long as he wants really gets this athletic boy going. He was a quick study on our dog powered slat mill and now gets it humming like no other 😍

** NO DAY SCHOOL TUESDAY 2/24 **
** SNOW DAY **

In accordance with our severe weather policy, we follow the public schools in closing Tuesday February 24th! We will resume as normal on Wednesday ❄️

Blizzards mean we’re stuck inside so brain work is on the menu! I’ve been playing with introducing my own pack to the talking buttons lately so the “cookie button” was a fun shaping exercise for Gelato as the storm raged outside ⛄️

This boy is super clever so caught on quickly of course, and even modified his intensity as he started by pulling the button out of the foam holder. His press became more deliberate and I was able to capture why you see here to finish. Such a fun way to pass the time and burn that mental energy 🧡

** SNOW DAY **

I’m sure it comes as no surprise that Fluxpack will be closed on Monday, February 23. All Day School and Private Lessons are cancelled ⛄️

All our pups are hunkered down to ride out the storm and are excited to see the bounty tomorrow brings! Stay safe out there everyone ❄️

Thor is a classic velcro Cavalier — he loves being close to his people and feels happiest when he can see you, follow you, or curl up beside you for a nap. His temperament is wonderfully sweet and steady.

** FEBRUARY SCHOOL VACATION WEEK **

Reminder no Day School this week, February 16th-20th!

While our clients are away our crates are full of boarding dogs ready for a fun get-away of their own! School vacation weeks are always a fun change of pace for us, welcoming friends we see once in a while alongside some of our favorite regulars as they make the easy transition from day school to extended stay 🧡

When our pups are unsure about the change in routine they look to us to provide the familiar activities that ground and fulfill them daily. As such they sleep well, calm and restful in preparation for their next opportunity 🥰

This restorative sleep is the backbone of a successful boarding stay, and curating these experiences looks different for each of the dogs in our care. With compassion and thoughtfulness, our staff ensures a custom approach to satisfy what your dog needs most 🧡

** SCHOOL’S OPEN TUESDAY **
** EXTENDED DROP OFF HOURS 8-11 AM **

Due to school opening delays tomorrow, drop off hours are extended to 11 AM for Tuesday January 27th ⛄️

We’ve been having a blast in the snow but are planning on lots of indoor activities as the cold snap hits! Enrichment comes in many forms, and this weather always makes for creative solutions for our dogs and store visits, especially to Bass Pro, are always a welcome distraction from the cold ❄️

In accordance with safety policy, Fluxpack Training Center will be closed Monday 1/26 due to snow. As usual, we follow the closure of our local public schools, Medfield & Holliston. Stay safe out there and take care of your neighbors 🧡

While we are snowed in, check your plans for February vacation week! Only a few spots remain 🥰
