Northwest Boxer Rescue is the largest nonprofit, volunteer-driven rescue serving the Pacific Northwest and Southern California. Our mission is simple: rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Boxers in need while educating and supporting the people who love them. We take in unwanted, abandoned, and medically complex dogs—regardless of age, condition, or ease of placement—and give them the care they deserve. Every dog in our program receives veterinary treatment, is spayed or neutered, and is placed in a safe, loving foster home while they wait for the right forever family. We work hard to place each dog in a responsible, committed home and help adopters feel confident and prepared for the lifelong commitment of bringing a dog into their family. At the heart of it all, we believe every Boxer deserves safety, healing, and a second chance.

Meet Walter. 🐾⁣
⁣
A fan of comfy couches, good company, and handing out kisses like they’re going out of style.⁣
⁣
He might need a little time to settle into new situations, but once he does? You’ll find a playful, affectionate guy who loves a good game of chase (and may or may not believe every toy belongs to him).⁣

💬 Comment BRINDLE HUNK and we’ll send you the link to Walter’s bio and adoption application.

Meet Nodin. 🐾 Small package. Big main-character energy.⁣
⁣
At 2.5 months old, this little guy has mastered the important things in life: being silly, collecting snuggles, and making himself right at home with his foster mom and big fur brother.⁣
⁣
His current situation? Pretty adorable.⁣
His future? Looking for a family to call his own. 🤎⁣
⁣
Think Nodin might be a sweet addition to your family?⁣
⁣
Comment NODIN below and we’ll send you his bio and adoption info! 🐾⁣

Our photo contest has officially wrapped! 🐾❤️⁣
⁣
The photos were great. The dog faces? Obviously 10/10.⁣
⁣
But your STORIES? You got us. 🥹⁣
⁣
From newly adopted pups just beginning their happily-ever-afters to Boxers living the good life and those forever loved in spirit, we loved reading your stories and getting a little glimpse into the lives of your very special dogs.⁣
⁣
Thank you for sharing your photos, rallying your people to vote, and showing up for NWBR and R&R Boxer Rescue. We’re so grateful you were part of this!⁣
⁣
Now, we’re putting all that Boxer magic into our 2027 Boxer calendar. And let’s just say… this isn’t your average rescue calendar. 😉🐾⁣

More soon!

Cooler days. Cozier nights. Coco on the couch. 🍂🤎⁣
⁣
Honestly, sounds like a pretty good setup.⁣
⁣
Coco is 10, wonderfully herself, good with other dogs, and has absolutely no interest in being treated like she’s fragile. She’s blind, but she gets around surprisingly well and figures things out faster than you might expect.⁣
⁣
A home without a lot of stairs? Ideal. Someone to share the couch with? Even better.⁣
⁣
Coco is ready for her next chapter. Could it be with you?⁣

⁣
Some people just show up. And sometimes, that changes everything. ❤️⁣
⁣
These two tiny Boxer girls were born with cleft palates, and from the very beginning, they needed a little more help than most puppies.⁣
⁣
That’s where Rainbow Heart Rescue came in.⁣
⁣
With experience tube feeding cleft palate puppies, they jumped in to help make sure these two were getting the nutrition they needed to grow.⁣
⁣
And friends… look at them now. 🥹⁣
⁣
Healthy. Vibrant. Growing. Absolutely thriving.⁣
⁣
Rainbow Heart Rescue — thank you for sharing your experience, stepping in when we needed you, and helping these two little girls get the strong start they deserve. ⁣
⁣
This is the kind of partnership that makes rescue better, and we’re so grateful to have you in our corner.⁣
⁣
The girls are now with their NWBR foster, where they’ll continue growing big and strong. 🐾
