Lunchbox coming in clutch at the Farmers Market this morning.

What he lacks in willingness to walk on a leash he makes up for with being able fit in my jacket and keeping us both warm.

A rainy morning with some mud and sticks and miss Scout is a happy girl.

She is really filling in nicely and has the most even tempered demeanor of the litter. Not too dominant nor too submissive. Just the right amount of drive and obedience. Loves to jump and climb too.

Nothing quite like a sunny fall afternoon and a backyard retreat for the puppies while the adult dogs sunbathe.

In other news, both Splenda and Bianca are going through their first heat cycle, which means Scout and Pasha are soon to follow.

Why does that matter? Well first, it shows they are maturing normally, and second, if you're thinking about getting a puppy and want to skip over all the difficult parts, this litter may be a good option. Once their heat cycle is complete they are ready to spay, which is [in most cases] the most expensive vet bill one of my puppies ever has.

Exceptionally low maintenance is just one of the perks of investing in quality on the front end.
