We have some items that have been donated to us to help raise some funds. Below each picture is a price. J’s Perfectly Imperfect Creations did a wonderful job on the cups, kitty pens, stickers and key chains.

Sweet Matilda is FINALLY looking for her fur-ever home. She is the exact example why sometimes we have to say no to semi feral cats. We picked her up in December of 2025. She is just NOW becoming okay with humans. We had her inside in our cat room and have been working with her for months!! She’s still timid about things and humans but she’s coming around and she has such a loud motor once you find her sweet spots. She’s been around other cats here and does well once proper introductions are done. She is also been exposed and learning to live peacefully amongst our dogs. She is litter box trained, spayed, rabies, wormed, and up to date on her distemper. She won’t need shots til December 26. $50 re-homing fee

Tomorrow, we will be able celebrate the end of working with this very large colony of cats. Over 25 cats have been spayed, neutered, and given their rabies and returned to the area they are cared for.

I have some bittersweet emotions here as we finish up. We really hit the jackpot when it came to working in the area. A kind-hearted neighbor reached out, completely funded the area, the caretaker, he did everything so perfectly. I would tell him a date and time, how many cats, and I would arrive to all the cats being loaded in cages and ready to go for us.

Last year at this time, he counted 19 kittens, this year we prevented all but 10, years to come there will be 0!! If a new cat moves in, he will contact us. “This will be the first time in a decade, I’m not worrying about kittens”

Our two beautiful fosters came from this area. Which brings me to Olga. She is the results of years of breeding in the same colony. We have many battles ahead with her. We also lost a few sick ones here along the way. It’s definitely not always beautiful. Spay and neuter saves lives ❤️

Our sweet Olga, she’s headed into emergency surgery. Her foster noticed she wasn’t acting herself and woke up to her poor face swollen, we reached out to our vet and she wanted to get her into surgery immediately. Olga has been battling an auto-immune disease in her gums, she’s been receiving antibiotics and steroids, she finished her course and had a few good days, to be knocked down again.

Olga came from a colony of over 20 cats. They were constantly breeding and breeding. This poor girl is suffering from the negligence of people. Spay and neuter saves lives!!

If you’d like to donate to her medical bill you can
Venmo:

Red Willow Animal Clinic 345 4143 (T.E.P.)

Horizon Bank 308 345 1744 also under the Elizabeth project (T.E.P.)

Or send things off wishlist.

Folks,

We have a couple kittens in a foster home, I’m fixing to make an order, however I wanted to also share our needs on here if anyone would like to send us some soft food we’d greatly benefit from it 😊. Little Olga and Susie will greatly appreciate it, as well as we do here at T.E.P. We also have 3 kittens we are caring for and could use the soft kitten food and always always in need of litter. (Unscented for the kittens)

We hear these things every. single. day.

And truthfully?
That’s exactly where the problem starts.

Because everybody wants something done…until it requires THEM to do something.

Every single ear tipped cat you see?
⏰That took time.
💰 That took money.
💪🏼 That took effort.
That took someone getting up early, trapping in the heat or cold, coordinating appointments, transporting, recovering, educating, and showing compassion instead of just complaining.

Nobody has “extra” time.
People make time for the things they truly care about.

You cannot breed your way out of this crisis.
You cannot dump your way out of this crisis.
You cannot remove your way out of this crisis.

SPAY. AND. NEUTER. is the ONLY solution.

People love to say:
“someone should do something.”

But community change starts when people stop passing the responsibility onto everybody else and finally decide:
“Maybe I should be part of the solution too.”

Susie and Olga. 7 months old. Spayed. Vaccinated accordingly. Currently thriving in their foster home are available for adoption. Olga has some issues with her teeth/gums, and will update about her needs in the future as we are monitoring a situation with them. We have decided THEY DO NOT need adopted together. As time goes on, Susie will definitely enjoy another cat in the house, however she needs to be boss or a cat who can keep her in line. Olga she’s reserved and she would be fine being the only cat. She would need a sibling who more on the docile side. Adoption fee is $50 each. We are
relocated in McCook.
