We received Jason Vom Naisshof’s Embark genetic testing results back and he is CLEAR of over 270+ genetic health conditions! 🎉🧬

Some of the conditions tested that are commonly discussed in German Shepherds include:

🐾 Degenerative Myelopathy (DM)
🐾 MDR1 Drug Sensitivity
🐾 Hemophilia A
🐾 Pituitary Dwarfism
🐾 Mucopolysaccharidosis VII (MPS VII)
🐾 Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA)
🐾 Various inherited neurological, eye, blood clotting, and metabolic disorders

🤎 Jason Vom Naisshof 🤎

Jason joined the rest of the pack for a swim last night for the very first time, and he absolutely loved it! 💦 He jumped right into the water without a second thought and had a blast exploring. He also got to check out our cattle and wasn’t bothered by them one bit!

One of the things we love most about Jason is his confident, easygoing temperament. Whether it’s water, livestock, or a new environment, he takes it all in stride! 🙌🏼

We’re incredibly excited about this handsome boy and can’t wait to see what he brings to our program. Hopefully we’ll have some upcoming litters by Jason soon! 🤎🐾

Puppy update from these two sweet girls! 🩷

On the left is a puppy from our Dior x Rubi litter, and on the right is from our Dior x Pearl litter. They live in separate homes down in North Carolina, but still get together all the time for play dates as their parents are family!

Getting updates like this is one of the best parts of what we do. We love watching our puppies grow up, seeing the friendships they make, and knowing they’re so loved by their families!

Keep the updates coming! We love seeing our pups living their best lives. 🐾🩷

Last night we brought Qully and Uganda to our 4H K9 training session, and we spent the evening working on Rally! Rally is a fun dog sport that combines obedience with a course of signs that guide handlers and dogs through different exercises. It helps build teamwork, communication, and confidence while keeping training engaging and enjoyable for both dog and handler! 🐾

One of the best things about Rally is that it teaches dogs to focus and work as a team with their person in a positive, encouraging environment. It’s a great stepping stone into other dog sports and a class that many youth exhibitors enjoy because of how interactive it is!

Qully and Uganda both did a great job, and it was awesome seeing our kids and dogs continue to improve each week. We are so proud of how much progress everyone is making! 🤍

God knew exactly what He was doing when He gave us dogs. 🤍

Through life’s highest highs and lowest lows, they are always there. They don’t care about your bad days, your mistakes, or your struggles. They simply love you. Their love is a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness and the unconditional love He has for us.

What a gift they truly are. 🐾

The king himself, Dior! 👑

It’s finally summertime in Michigan, which means swimming season is officially here! ☀️💦 Dior absolutely loves the water and never misses a chance to jump in for a swim. Whether he’s splashing around, cooling off after a run, or just enjoying the sunshine, this boy is living his best life.

Safe to say summer is one of Dior’s favorite seasons! 🩵🐾
