🎓 BOARD & TRAIN GRADUATE Rhys! 🐾

This sweet boy has officially graduated from his board & train program, and we couldn’t be prouder of his progress! ❤️

During his stay, we’ve worked hard on:
🐾 No more jumping!
🐾 Solid climb/place stays, even throughout mealtimes
🐾 Much improved recall (10 times better!)
🐾 Better door manners
🐾 Top-tier leash walking!

We’ve had so much fun working with this sweet boy and watching him grow! We can’t wait to see him back for a refresher down the road or even for some boarding. 🐶💙

Great job, buddy! Keep up the good work! 🎉

Everyone wish Bentley and his family safe travels as they head out tomorrow on their new adventure of moving to Florida! ☀️🐾

Bentley is what we like to call an OG K9 Companions training client. I’ve known this sweet boy for about 2½ years, and in that time, he has definitely taken a little piece of my heart and wrapped it right around his paw. ❤️

I want to give a huge thank you to his parents for being so supportive over the years and for sticking with me through several life and business changes. Your support has meant more than you know!

Bentley, you’re going to be so missed, but we’re so excited for this next chapter for all three of you. 🥹❤️

Wishing you all safe travels, a smooth move, and so many happy memories in Florida! 🌴🐾

Did you know K9 Companions Dog Training is a certified evaluator through the AKC for tests including CGC, AKC Community Canine (the advanced level of CGC), Urban CGC, Virtual Home Manners, and Trick Dog titles?!

Meet Yadi! 🐾 This handsome 9-year-old boy is working with us as he prepares to become a therapy dog. He already has a great foundation and plenty of experience under his belt, so our first goal is getting him his CGC title!

We can’t wait to watch him work toward that goal and see him pass with flying colors! ❤️🐾

Badger 🌟

Badger is a 6-month-old Jack Russell Terrier, and Mom says his biggest issue is recall. Once that nose gets going, both ears seem to shut down for the day.

We’ll be working through some other typical puppy nuisance behaviors along the way, but last night we got started on recall—and Badger absolutely blew us away! He is SO food motivated and willing to please, and it was awesome getting to see his little brain work. He picked things up quickly and was eager to figure out what we were asking of him.

I can’t wait to see how much progress this little guy makes over the next couple of weeks! 🐶

Meet Cinderella, aka Ella! 🐾

Three Shepherds in the last month makes my heart happy!! 🥹❤️

Ella is a very young Shepherd puppy who is honestly one of the most respectful little girls I’ve met. Her parents came to me before they even brought her home, and we made a game plan for her training. A few weeks later, here we are!

We have some big goals for this girl: finished obedience and reliable off-leash skills. We got started on some puppy basics this week, and we’ll continue building from here.

Ohhhh, she’s a smart one! 👀 I have a feeling this girl is going to be a lot of fun to watch grow. Stay tuned! 🐕✨

Archinine 🌟

Archinine is a young German Shepherd who is currently in training to become a service dog! His older sister recently retired from her service dog career, and he’ll be stepping up to fill those very big shoes. 🥹

We’ve already started lots of obedience and have been working on tons of socialization to help prepare him for the world around him. He’s got a long road ahead of him, as service dogs typically require several years of training, but this boy is incredibly smart and already showing so much potential!

We’re excited to watch him grow, learn, and hopefully become the amazing service dog he’s being trained to be. Stay tuned for his progress! 🐕‍🦺
