“Go Find”

This is our go-to enrichment game for when pups need a bit more stimulation during a drop-in visit. It’s simple. We utilize your dog’s sense of smell by hiding treats around and telling them to sniff it out. This can be played indoors or out in the yard, but avoid doing this with dogs that try to eat things outside that they shouldn’t. We don’t want to reinforce any naughty pups sniffing out goodies in the grass.

Sometimes all your pup needs is a change of scenery. Sweetie isn’t a big fan of exercise, but she loves watching the deer, squirrels, and birds when she’s outside. While physical exercise is important to keep her body healthy, the mental exercise she experiences when watching other animals is a great way to keep her mind healthy too. Using her eyes and her nose to take in new sights and smells is a great way to enrich her during our walks. She gets to experience new things and come back home as a happy sleepy pup.

Keeping your pets happy and healthy is our goal, so when Jerome’s parents asked us to keep up with his supplements while they were away, it was no problem at all. Even though he has an automatic feeder, we stopped in daily to make sure it was working and to add his probiotic on top. He was happy to have some company, fresh clean litter boxes, and daily water changes as well.

Whether your pup likes to lounge in the sunshine, run around and play, or beg for pets drop-in visits will meet their needs. Mini enjoys lounging around or playing while her brother is all about the pets! Luckily we’re able to meet both of their needs at the same time with our backyard potty breaks. They both get attention, time to handle their potty business, and a nice fresh bowl of water before we leave.

At WalkEase Pet Care, we love all creatures - curious puppies and scared stick bugs alike. When Connor found this walking stick, he was flabbergasted! He started jumping up in the air and shaking his little head around like he couldn’t believe his eyes! Luckily our team member figured out what was causing such a commotion and got the little creature to safety before Connor accidentally hurt him.

Playtime!! There’s nothing worse than coming home from work, totally exhausted, and having your pent up pup bark at you while begging you to play with them. We understand the pet parent guilt and we’re here to squash it! Don’t feel guilty about not having the time or energy to play tug-of-war after a long day, just have us do it for you!

If you’re a busy pet parent that works 5 days a week and needs consistent care, let’s get your dog on a recurring schedule. This eliminates the need to put in scheduling requests and holds a spot on our schedule for your pup.

If your schedule is constantly changing and your pup is flexible with their potty breaks, book walks as needed! We don’t have any last minute scheduling fees and we’ll do our best to see your pup as close to your preferred time as we can.

While this photo isn’t as great as our usual “oh so cute!” posts, it’s actually a very big deal for us! We’ve been caring for Freddy for a few years now and we rarely get to see him. He was a feral cat before being adopted and whenever we come in, he runs to hide under the couch. One of our team members had the idea of playing bird noises on the Alexa during our visits. Well it seems to be helping Freddy feel a bit more comfortable! Instead of completely hiding away during his last visit, he stayed under the table to keep an eye on us.

While we love cuddling your kitties, being a safe trusted care team for the scared kitties is just as rewarding. We are so proud of Freddy and can’t wait to see how his confidence continues to grow!
