As we prep for the arrival of some fall borns and the return of our local county fair, I wanted to take a minute to reflect on the past 5 years!

5 years ago, Kannon exhibited the first-ever “Gibson Livestock” goat and won our local county fair! Neither of us had any experience with goats and neither of us came from families in agriculture production. We started with a group of four mature does that Pam Brem put together for us, and from there we’ve grown to around 25 wether dams and 30 recips. We leaned on mentors and leaders in the industry to help us learn how to manage these critters from feeding, kidding, to anything and everything in between. To now to look back and look at some of the success, friends, and family we’ve made along the way…. We just feel SO blessed! THANK YOU to everyone who’s been apart of the journey.🫶🏻

If you take anything away from this post, learn to live in the uncomfortable! Put yourself out there, try something new, and be the person asking questions!

When we bought #2413 from PAM, we knew we wanted to build our program around her. This donor has consistently made us winners! Excited to see Erica’s fall borns out of one of our favorite does to date!
