Our wild shoulder jumping Christopher was adopted this evening. We are all going to miss this lovebug but not his cage redecorating ways. Ha!

Our little guy came to us from Cobb and arrived there with his eye already in bad shape. Unfortunately there was no saving his eye. Christopher sailed through his eye surgery and never missed a beat.

And to all of the Furkids HQ room 2 volunteers….guess who Christopher will be calling his new sister……Mona! Isn’t that amazing! And what’s even crazier…Christopher and Mona were in the same room at FKEC. (The green room.)

Thank you to Christopher’s new family for being a repeat adopter. We know you will have so much fun with our wild amazing boy.

His new family already said-“Our family is the lucky one who adopted this adorable fella. Bouncy, funny, personality plus!”

We will be there at the Woodstock Petsmart this Saturday from 11am - 2:30pm with a lot of cats & kittens looking for their forever homes!

Our beautiful Joni wasn’t here long at FKEC….here is what our adoption counselor said about her adoption today-

“Joni’s new mom has a huge heart for rescues. A while back, she found her current cat, Pumpkin, living as a stray when he was about a year old. After trying her best to find his owner with no luck, she officially adopted him, got him fully vetted, and gave him a safe place to land.
Pumpkin is sweet, super playful, and loved living with other felines when his mom had roommates. Now that they have their very own place, Mom knew Pumpkin was missing that feline companionship—and that is where Joni came in! Joni is the perfect buddy to match Pumpkin's playful energy. We are so excited for Joni and Pumpkin to become the ultimate best friends in their beautiful new home.”

Momma Desta and daughter Coralie were surrendered to Cobb Co AS on Aug 22nd.
They caught the nasty shelter cold but thankfully we rescued them on Sept 6th.
They both healed nicely and TODAY….they were ADOPTED TOGETHER! How wonderful is that.
Mom was looking for a kitten and dad was thinking about an adult…what a wonderful match.
We are so happy Desta & Coralie are able to stay together. They do love each other so much.
Thank you to their new parents for adopting this wonderful pair.

“For years, the kids in this wonderful family have been asking for a pair of boys to call their own. Little did they know, today was the day their dream would finally come true! Their amazing mom kept the secret perfectly, not telling the kids that they were actually adopting today. She was so incredibly excited to bring them home as the ultimate surprise.The family visited the foster’s home to meet the entire litter, and seeing how perfect they were made choosing these two boys an easy choice! They are the ultimate sweet cuddle bugs, completely inseparable, and so full of love.”
