Calling all Veterans.

Bring your dog. Bring yourself.
We’re getting outside, getting some fresh air, and putting in a light, easy walk with other vets who get it. No pressure. No agenda. Just movement, dogs, and camaraderie.

🐕 Dogs welcome (all breeds, all training levels)

Veterans — service or ESA dog training support

If you’re a veteran working on training your own service or emotional support dog and could use some structure, guidance, or another set of experienced eyes, we’re running a weekly group training for vets.

This is a veteran-owned, veteran-only class.

When: Sundays at 9 AM (starting February 1)
Where: Copper Sky Park
Cost: $20 per class or $80/month

We’ll focus on:
Clear, reliable obedience
Confidence and neutrality in public spaces
Introductory task foundations
Strengthening the handler–dog working relationship

Whether you’re at the very beginning or you’ve been doing this solo and want to tighten things up, this is a place to train alongside people who understand the process — and the pressure.

Small group. Laid-back. Purpose-driven.

Long-distance stay ➡️ clean heel.

Training my 20-week-old Anatolian Shepherd pup to be comfortable being picked up and carried.

A. I’d love to compete in a dog obstacle course with her one day.
B. In case of an emergency, I want to be able to lift and carry her when needed—especially since she’s going to be a big girl.

We also have her father, who joined our family last year. He’s 6 years old, had very little training, and he’s definitely not a fan of being pushed around, picked up, or handled. Getting him to the vet is a nightmare, which is exactly why I want to set his daughter up for success early.

My passion for protection work began in 2014 when I trained under a master kennel trainer and started learning the foundations of protection-dog training. Now I’m excited to bring that same experience to our community.
