I have made the decision to no longer breed GSDs. The breed still is near and dear to me but I have decided moving forward I will only be competing and breeding English Labrador Retrievers. Some have already heard the story but for those unaware Labs were my first love, and it was my father who originally got me into GSDs and Schutzhund when I was a teenager. I hope you all will like and start following my Alum Creek Labrador page where I continue to show my young female in multiple venues and will still continue to breed with the same practices as I did my GSDs. Breeding for health, temperament, conformation, and working ability!!! Always trying to preserve our beloved breeds.

Producing English bred Labrador Retrievers with health, temperament, and working ability in mind.

Unfortunately timing didn’t work out this cycle to breed Hilde so now we are planning an April 2026 breeding with this stud prospect!

Happy 1st birthday G litter vh Bella!! So happy with how this litter is turning out so far! Couple are starting out in PSA and IGP. One is starting training in some nosework, and they all are great family companions!! If anyone has anymore updated pics add them in the comments!

Happy 5th birthday Hilde!!!! She is the mother of our current H litter. She is a great mother and such a happy dog. Here’s to many more years girl.

Puppies had a big day today with a lot of firsts! Had their first bath, blow dry, car ride, and trip to the vet. Everyone handled their bath pretty well. NOBODY liked the blow dryer, so I recommend everyone to keep exposing their puppy to the dryer because it is a god send during shedding season. Everyone handled the car pretty decently of course there was some whining but everyone eventually settled and fell asleep. Lastly everyone got a clean bill of health from the vet! 😀
Now I’m ready for a nap 😴
