These 2 sweet kitties are in need of a forever home! The cats are both about 4 years old, and are neutered males. They’re up to date on all shots etc. Their names are Kyle and Bryce. They are both super friendly and love everyone, including dogs. ☺️

They were saved from ACCT but now their owner is moving into a senior living facility and can no longer care for them. We are hoping our network can help spread the word and share them to find them a loving home.

Meet Carson! A Loving, Playful Labradoodle Looking for His Next Family:

Carson is a lovable, affectionate, and social 9-year-old Labradoodle weighing approximately 45 pounds. He has a wonderful temperament and is a truly family-oriented dog who loves being around people. He is non-aggressive, friendly with other dogs, and great with adults and children.
Don't let his age fool you! Carson is still a playful, energetic boy who loves life and has plenty of enthusiasm to share with his next family. He is in excellent health, has a clean bill of health, and has lots of love left to give.
Carson is house-trained, enjoys playing fetch and other games, and knows all the basic commands along with several more advanced ones. He is an intelligent dog who enjoys interacting with his family, playing, and being part of everyday life.
One of Carson's favorite things is simply having company. He is a social dog who forms strong bonds with his family and thrives when he has people around him. He can get lonely when left alone for extended periods, so we believe he would be happiest in a home where someone is home regularly or where he has another friendly dog for companionship.
Unfortunately, due to a change in job and work situations Carson is looking for a new forever home. One where people will have the time to be with him and the companionship he thrives off of.
The hope is to find Carson a home where he will be loved, included in family life, and surrounded by his people. He would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a friendly, affectionate, playful companion who gets along well with people of all ages and other dogs.
Carson has so much love to give. He deserves a home where he can feel happy, secure, and truly part of the family.

This 10-month-old Shepherd/Lab mix weighs about 40–45 pounds and is as sweet as they come. ❤️ She may be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and will absolutely melt your heart. Dandy just wants to please her people, and with her loving personality, intelligence, and eagerness to learn, she’s sure to make an amazing addition to the right family. She has the perfect balance of playful puppy energy and laid-back cuddle time, and she’s been a joy to foster! Dandy is the kind of dog who will make you smile every day. She’s smart, affectionate, adventurous, and eager to be someone’s very best friend. All she needs now is a family to love her as much as she’ll love them!

🐶 Dog-Friendly: She has done wonderfully with every dog she’s met! She currently lives with two dogs and would love a canine companion, but she could also thrive as an only dog with regular opportunities to socialize and play with other pups.
💕Great with Kids: Her foster home has three kids ages 11–14, and she has been wonderful with everyone she’s met!
🐾 Very intelligent and food-motivated! She already knows sit and paw and would love a family that enjoys teaching her new tricks and commands.
🦮 Good on a Leash: She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out and exploring.
🚗 Adventure Buddy: She rides well in the car and has happily tagged along to baseball games, pet stores, and other outings. She’d love an active family that enjoys including their dog in life’s adventures!
🏠 Crate & Home Manners: She does great out of the crate with her people home and prefers having the freedom to roam with supervision. She goes into her crate when her family is away and at night, sometimes whining for a few minutes before settling down. She has been doing amazing with house training!

Joey is a sweet, 6-month-old male, 25 pound, Lab-mix who is ready to steal your heart and claim your lap. While the shelter originally named him after one of the Jonas Brothers, his foster family quickly realized he is much more like Joey from Friends—especially with those soulful, melting "How you doin’?" eyes. 🐾

The Perfect Package
Joey gives you all the best parts of having a puppy with almost none of the trouble. He is expected to grow to a manageable 50 lbs and already has the calm demeanor and pleasant personality of a much older dog.

The Ultimate Velcro Dog: Joey’s absolute favorite place to be is curled up on your lap or right by your side. He is a true "velcro dog" who loves nothing more than being held exactly like a baby.

A+ House Manners: He is mostly house-trained, loves his toys, and chooses to chew on them rather than your belongings. While he has typical puppy curiosity, he is incredibly easy to redirect.

Crate & Car Champ: He enjoys car rides (usually curling up for a nap) and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate after just a minute or two of settling down.

Smart & Food-Motivated: He takes commands beautifully, is eager to learn, and is highly motivated by treats!

The Great Diplomat (Kids, Dogs, and Cats!)
One of Joey’s most remarkable traits is how beautifully he adjusts his personality to match anyone he meets.
Cats: He currently lives with four cats and barely notices them. When they do meet face-to-face, he gives them a gentle nuzzle and respects their boundaries. 🐱
Dogs: He loves a good round of backyard zoomies with other dogs, but he also lives with a senior dog and is incredibly respectful of her space. He would thrive as an only dog or with furry siblings. 🐕
Kids: Joey absolutely loves kids of all ages! 👶

Foster needed for Thea!!

This sweet mature lady is estimated to be around 9 years old and 40 lbs. She ended up in a shelter when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. She is had lots of life left and deserves to spend it in a home!

Thea is a very good girl! She seems to be potty trained because she tries hard not to pity in her kennel. She has been good around other dogs, pigs and horses.

Thea needs to get out of the kennel and outdoor living and back into a home where she belongs. She is already spayed and ready to be in a foster home starting this Saturday!! If you can help Thea email us ASAP at [email protected]!

Foster secured!

Bisquick is very easy going and loves everyone he meets! He loves people and doggie friends alike. He appears to have a bit of corgi in him with shorter legs. This cutie is estimated to be around a year old and 35 lbs.

Bisquick is still in the shelter so he is not available to meet. With foster commitment we would be able to free him of shelter life and get him one step closer to his forever family. He would travel to us with foster commitment on 10/24.

One event is still happening tomorrow! Salem Church of Doylestown has moved their Animal Blessing and Community Event into Freeman Hall and on the porch to keep people and pups dry.

This is a family-friendly event! They will be having donation drives for various shelters and rescues in the area. Their event also features:
-Visits from some special pups from Roxy Therapy Dogs and Almost Home Doylestown
PA
-Raffle baskets featuring DogVenture New Britain and Dogs & Cats Rule Doylestown.
-Free hot dogs!
-Kids activities
-Live music
-..And more!

Looking for foster and/or adopter!

Gunner is a 5 year old scruffy terrier/hound mix who weighs just under 50lbs. Gunner landed in the shelter after having a home so he already has the hang of a number of things. Sadly his owner fell ill and had to be hospitalized indefinitely.

Gunner enjoys riding in the car and going for walks! He likes to follow his nose so he pulls some with just a collar, but is quite manageable in a chest-leading harness. This guy does not like crates but that is not an issue because he is already house-trained! Gunner is comfortable in a home and has no issues exploring all floors of the house, so steps are not an issue. He is a cuddly guy who enjoys a dog bed and the opportunity to cuddle with people on the couch.

Gunner was an only dog but has been friendly to the other dogs in the shelter and foster home. He could go with or without a dog companion. We do not have information on Gunner and cats. We would recommend Gunner be in a home on the more quiet side since that is what he is used to (no tiny kiddos).
