Because I care I started a farm in 2019 so I could grow healthy fresh food for people.
Because I care I put my farm in the center of a food desert.
Because I care I kept working the farm when I lost my son and partner five years ago next week.
Because I care I held on to the farm when DOGE cut half our market which fed the hungry throughout Ohio and the farmers gro-op crumbled around me.
Because I care I use my SS to keep the farm productive.
Because I care I haven't received a living wage for seven years.

But most of all, because I care I am selling my Mother's Day baskets at cost.

Farmers be farming. Cauliflower, cabbage and broccoli. Artichokes coming back (50 percent success rate.) and the Edible flower patch getting planted. All snuggly for the night.
