🚨 SHAVE KATIE’S HAIR FOR THE DOGS?! 🚨

You read that right!! 😂

Meet Katie, our beloved groomer at Girl's Best Friend Grooming! Katie already gives back to the dogs of RescueLove by donating a portion of her grooms, but she's about to take her love for rescue dogs to a WHOLE new level!

NEXT THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29TH, Jordan's Way is coming to RescueLove for a LIVE fundraising event from 6–9 PM!

And Katie has agreed that IF WE RAISE $10,000, SHE WILL SHAVE HER HEAD!!! ✂️😱

Now, we all know how brutal CNY winters can be, so the fact that Katie is willing to sacrifice her hair heading into winter says a whole lot about how much she loves these dogs! ❤️

We have ONE WEEK to rally together, spread the word, and help us hit that $10,000 goal!

DONATE, SHARE, and TUNE IN on October 29th to see if Katie ends up needing a REALLY warm winter hat! 😂🐾

November 1st; Daylight Saving Time ends.
You get an extra hour of sleep. Deer get killed on the highway.

🌟Here's why:
When clocks "fall back," your evening commute now happens at dusk; exactly when deer are most active.

🌟The Facts:

Deer-vehicle collisions SPIKE 300% the week after DST ends.
🔸️October-November = deer mating season (bucks are distracted, reckless)
🔸️1.5 million deer-vehicle collisions per year in the US.
🔸️200 human deaths, 26,000 injuries annually.
🔸️$10 billion in vehicle damage.

🌟Why does this happen?

Deer move at dawn and dusk (crepuscular)
Your commute suddenly overlaps with their active hours. Rutting bucks chase does across roads without looking. You're driving in the dark and possibly going too fast.

🌟What YOU can do?

🔸️Slow down at dusk (5-7 PM in November)
If you see one deer, expect 5 more (they travel in groups)
🔸️Don't swerve!! Brake firmly and stay in your lane
🔸️High beams in rural areas (see reflective eyes sooner)

Deer don't want to die & You don't want to either.

Please.
Slow.
Down.
