Anytime, Pudding! 🐍💚
It’s always a pleasure helping out local businesses.
If you want to see what an excellent ball python habitat looks like, come visit Discovery Cove in Manistee! They will even let you hold the little guy! (wash your hands first, please)

Thank you to Dr. Omell for coming to do a wellness check on Pudding. 💚

Too funny not to share! 🤣

Tis’ the season for everybody’s least favorite arachnid… 🕷️ TICKS!

Here is your friendly reminder to give Dr. Omell a call at 231-253-3130 to get your pet on an effective flea and tick preventative if they aren’t already. These little buggers can cause some nasty diseases that we all want to prevent!

I hate them so much. Parody of Stick Season by Noah Kahan, rework...

From :

"A few years ago I was sitting in an office with an old veterinarian who was about to retire and he told me he’d been thinking about something. He said, “People have asked me many times why I think God gave us companions like dogs and cats that only live ten years or so. I’ve been thinking about that for 50 years and I think I know the answer... I think it’s because when we choose to live with dogs we choose to witness all the stages of our own life in shorter time span. We see puppies become adults and do dumb things and get into trouble. We see them energetic and healthy in their prime. And then, like us, our dogs get old and they slow down and they die. But we witness it all in this snapshot of life that, if we’re lucky, helps us appreciate what life means for us too. Maybe that’s the gift, maybe they teach us how to do life better since we’re doing it in slow motion compared to them.”
Maybe. ❤️

Life is hard. Dogs help."

Happy Easter! 🌤️🐣

Please remember to hide Easter baskets somewhere where your dog or cat can’t get into them, especially if they have chocolate or xylitol-containing candies in them! 💚🐾

And keep Easter lilies away from your cats! 🩵🐾

May God bless you and your animals with health and happiness! ✝️

Princess Pickles would like to wish you all a HAPPY FRIDAY! 🎉

Hopefully some of you take the time to enjoy this beautiful weather by taking a trip to the beach! 🏖️ Speaking of beach - Did you know hedgehogs can swim? Their spines contain air which helps keep them buoyant. Swimming is great exercise for these little “land urchins!”
(Always make sure your pet is supervised while in or near water.) 🤗

Fun fact: Labrador Retrievers have webbed paws, making them exceptional swimmers! Originally bred to help fishermen retrieve nets and catch fish, their love for water runs deep—literally. Whether it's a lake, a pool, or even a puddle, Labs are always ready to dive in and make a splash! 🐾💦

Any relatable stories about your pup?

Happy World Veterinary Day! 🌎👩🏼‍⚕️🩺🐾

Hands down the best profession out there! (Okay I may be a little biased…)

It is truly a calling and a blessing to serve our community by caring for the animals we all so dearly love. ❤️
