Princess was 9 years old when she was given another chance at a forever family with the Horst Family. Not long after her adoption, it was determined that something wasn't right. After a battery of tests done by her new family, it was determined Princess had some small bleeds going on and came up with an emergency plan should it get to be too much for Princess.

Some days looked better than others, giving the family bits of hope. As with many pets, this is the part that takes some decision making and the Horst Family kept in our "Team" chat to keep us informed.

Mom says "I wouldn't trade her for the world but didn't expect it to be this short of time".

Today was the day that Princess crossed over the rainbow bridge. Today we shed tears of sadness, but feel so much appreciation to a foster that opened their home and a forever family that opened their hearts.

Thank you to our community for always supporting us. No matter how short a time, we made a difference for this sweet family.

Please old space for the Horst family and our extended Koch's family who are mourning this loss today.

Hey there. Remember Thalia that we pulled from the PGAS May urgent list? Well, she is just the sweetest and funnest (is that a word) girl! She was recently spayed so she is ready for her forever home to find her.

After her spay, Thalia went through a false pregnancy and started nesting. It was the cutest and more heartbreaking thing... she rallied all her stuffies, no babies, and put them together under her fosters desk. If that doesn't make your heart skip a beat, you should get your heart checked out.

Thalia would love a home with a calm dog or even alone so she can be the center of attention. She loves people pleasing and has an easy disposition.

Help us find Thalia her forever home! We promise, if you meet her, you will love her!

We showed you Lucy yesterday and Ivy earlier today, but now it's Howie time! This sweet boy is the brother of those two lovelies and guess what!? He got adopted this week too...

Howie was minding his own business and growing by leaps and bounds with another amazing foster, when he went to his appointment for his neuter and some lady just fell in love at first sight!

Well, let me tell you, she musta seen it coming because we gave Howie a few days to heal and he is already fitting right in at her house! Check out handsome guy living it up at his new forever home!

When you have a type, but your type isn't your type...

We have some amazing fosters and all of them have the biggest hearts, which often makes for a full house...

Intro Amazing adopters. They travel to meet and fall in love with a dog. They later agree to "foster" Ivy (left photo with red collar). They decide Ivy is a better fit than the dog they adopted but luckily the original dog fell in love with a friend who pet sat for them and she refused to come home. Fosters decide to fail with Ivy, but still help. We love this!

We send them a dog that they find a home for, so we send them another. Enter Jellybean... dog on right witj the sad face. Foster mom says he's a great dog but is always pitiful... except for when foster dad comes home.

We begin to finalize Ivy's adoption and we say we need to push Jellybean for adoption so we can get them another dog... lo' and behold, we're told to throw Jellybean in the cart too!

A DOUBLE ADOPTION FAIL! YES PLEASE!

Happy tails to Jellybean, now Meathead. We could not be happier and can't wait to see what other shenanigans of ours you will put up with. :)
