Grow-out update on Warhead, a wildly drippy guy from Oklana Zoological. He’ll be ready for next season and so will we after taking this year off from pairing.

Upwards of 15-20 geckos will be marked as available in the coming months so if anybody is in the tristate area (NY, NJ, PA) and looking to expand their collection keep your eyes peeled for all kinds of goodies. I will ship where necessary, with my work schedule it can be worked out given proper notice and proper temps. There’s just something about the local ones that really fill a hobbyist breeder’s heart though.

We’re looking down the barrel of a move, but there will be many hatchlings and sub-adults ready to move-out in the coming months. Pictured here is Drama (Sire to Mozzarella’s [1st] 2022 season); he far from disappoints with his multiple states of fire and his past feeding was no different. If you’re looking to expand your collection stay tuned for updates on harlequins, flames, and lily whites!

One of last seasons hatchlings growing out over here. We’re behind on posting but have a lot to share. Some of the little ones will be looking for new branches, as well as some of our adults that don’t fit into future plans!

A day late and a dollar short on the post, but we’ve officially got eggs on the ground from our only two pairs (so far 🙃) of the season!
Mozzarella x Drama
Highly anticipated pairing between two growouts of ours; Drama is out of Druid x Artemis, produced by ZenGex. He has some INSANE contrast and will likely be out future cornerstone male, should he prove himself out as planned. Mozzarella was acquired as a small juvenile about two years ago and comes from strong-structured high white lineage and is a Lily White.

Butters x Fury
Butters will be producing for a 2nd time, 1st with Fury as he was finally big enough to get the job done! She was acquired some years back from Tesla's Geckos etc. LLC and has already outdone herself in her first season with Henry.
Fury was acquired with Drama from Zengex, produced out of Farouk x Aurora at Zengex.

To say this season is a long-time coming would be a tremendous understatement. I’m lying in anticipation with these first clutches dropping and more are sure to come!

A couple quick pics of Fury ( : Farouk x Aurora) and Jangles ( : Jarvis x Fungus) settling into their adult structures respectively. Still waiting on eggs from Butters, sired by Fury and stuck searching for a female for Mr. Jangles. We have a pet-only adult female we’re willing to part with in the coming months; get in touch with us if you may be interested. Heading into Spring grateful for what we have with our sights set on bigger and better in the future for our gecko platoon.

We have much to be grateful for and your support in our journey is much appreciated. Here’s hoping for a long overdue clutch or two from our couple of ladies we have going this season. 🤞🏼
A few of our (first time we’re releasing babies from ‘21) kiddos and a sweet, adult pet-only female will be looking for new tubs or tanks soon, so stay tuned! We appreciate you following along with our journey; we assure you, the best is yet to come! 💜

Exciting news here; our 2022 breeding season has officially begun! Our first confirmed lock was witnessed this past Tuesday (2/1) between Fury (Zengex: Farouk x Aurora) and Butters. Since its Fury’s first season we weren’t expecting much from him, especially since he isn’t as close to her weight as we’d like, but we’re delightfully surprised with his persistence. We’re hoping Drama can get the job done with Mootz to solidify our two definitive pairings for the ‘22 season. “Good things come to those who wait,” is an expression that I believe is best applied to the greater breeding hobby.
I am grateful for all of the traits I have learned from within and continue to hone throughout this experience: patience, discipline, creativity, to name a few. Perhaps the greatest gift of all, however is my newfound appreciation and love for life.
This was an introspectively productive Friday and the juices for flowing so forgive my long shpeel, but the long and short of it is if you’re thinking about getting a reptile for the first time as a pet. DO YOUR RESEARCH, then, and only then, go out and get one to observe and appreciate. They really are ALL they are cracked up to be. . . . . and MORE.
