Said “see ya later” to the BEST pony in the world today 🥹 Missy is a very lucky little rescue pony who made it pretty much impossible not to fall in love with her. After major colic surgery, she developed an incisional infection that required a little extra TLC and was brought here. She was always the first to greet me in the barn every single day with her irresistibly adorable whinny, and on the other hand bossed around the 16+ hand thoroughbreds when she was later cleared for group turnout, as every tiny pony should (the dinosaur screams she made at feeding time were like nothing I’d ever heard before, in the best way). Missy and I spent Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and a record-breaking ice storm together! I’m pretty sure her coat also went through about 5 different color changes while here. The joy this little pony brought us all was infectious, so much so that I adopted my own little rescue pony to fill Missy’s shoes when it was time for her to go back to her loving home. Fortunately, Missy’s family lives only 7 minutes from us so I know she is just down the road whenever I need a Missy fix. Thank you as always to for bringing Missy into our lives - it was a bittersweet day sending this girl home 💕
