I have had several people ask me about my older dog, Hope, so here is an update.

Tuesday, we had just finished some yard work and I was throwing a fun bumper for her. When she went to retrieve, she rolled over in pain and was suddenly paralyzed from mid spine down. After rushing to the vet er in Clarksville, we came home for the night with the diagnosis of an FCE (spinal stroke). By noon the next day, she had not urinated. We took her to my local vet and they kept her for iv meds and a catheter. As of today, she has some strength in her left leg but none in the right. She also still has to use a catheter to urinate. We are hoping for some sensation to return over the weekend.

Just wanted to come on and tell everyone about my experience with Higdon Outdoors this past week. Most duck hunters know about Higdon and that they are a western KY based company. They make motion decoys along with several other products for waterfowl hunters. Last year, I had bought 4 of the new Higdon pulsators. New to the water this year, we started using them everyday. After about 2-3 hunts, one of the pulsators quit working. I called Higdon customer support and their response was awesome. After just a couple of questions, I had a new pulsator on the way. In a world where everyone is spouting negative comments about companies, I just wanted people to know about my positive experience with Higdon Outdoors.
