💙 **MEET THEO!** 💙
Theo is a 5-year-old, 14-pound Miniature Poodle whose life goals include finding the softest blanket in the house, burrowing underneath it, and quietly judging your choice of cozy spot. 😂
This little guy may have come from a puppy mill, so some things about normal dog life are still pretty scary. Leashes? Suspicious. Stairs? A work in progress. Loud noises? Absolutely not. But with a little patience and a calm environment, Theo's sweet personality is starting to shine through. 🥹
His favorite hobbies include snuggling, burrowing under blankets, riding in the car, and investigating any dog bed another pup has already claimed. Because if there's room for one more miniature poodle, why wouldn't you join the party?
Theo loves other dogs of all sizes, is housebroken and crate trained, rarely barks, and handles grooming like a champ. He's especially comfortable with women, though he can coexist with men just fine. He's also a fan of personal space when it comes to other dogs and his treats, so a family that understands his boundaries is important.
**Theo's dream home?** A quiet, predictable place without young children, where he can build confidence at his own pace. Respectful older kids around 10+ may be a fit.
He has no known health concerns and is scheduled for a dental on October 13.
Theo might not be the dog who runs up to everyone he meets. He's the little guy who needs time to feel safe, who takes tiny tippy-toed steps toward a new life, and who will eventually show you just how sweet he can be when he knows he's home. ❤️
We don't know everything about Theo's past, but we know what we want for his future: a soft bed, a patient human, a dog friend or two, and a family who lets him blossom in his own time.
