Everybody's favorite national holiday is coming up and what better way to celebrate than to give your pet the gift of safety? Fireworks can frighten animlas and cause them to run away from their homes and families.

MCSO ASU wants to help Madison County pets stay safe and get back to their people asap. MCSO ASU will be running a microchipping event from June 29-July 2nd. Madison County residents can call our office and request an appointment to have their pet outfitted with a Fi Nano microchip and registered at no cost. Appointments are limited and fill up fast! We have so many thanks to give today to the people who have worked hard to help "Bean" and to those that are continuing to help him. He came into us last week with a severe injury to his leg that prevented him from being able to use it. It appears that he had been dragging his leg for some time based on the wounds that were on the top of his foot. Thanks to our wonderful team at the Madison Veterinary Clinic and their staff member Lindsey, Bean has been kept comfortable while we made arrangements for his future. Today he will meet with the team from Florida Urgent Rescue, Inc. - FUR where he will continue his journey to Pointe Verde Florida. Bean will live with a foster while he undergoes treatment through an orthopedic specialist. Bean is a young and happy boy who has so much future ahead of him and we are thankful for everybody involved that will make sure he continues to have a wonderful life.
