BACKROADS RESCUE: Part Five “The Finale”
We received a call about five young puppies found dumped deep down some backroads in Noxubee County, Mississippi. They had survived a terrible storm the night before, hunkering down in these deep thicket, and coyotes, who are prevalent to the area.
When we arrived, they, of course, all scattered further into the woods. If it weren’t for the couple who called—Jennifer and Courtney—these babies might not be alive today.
This is what people do when they really care about saving lives.
They called.
They kept eyes on them until I got there.
They met me and led me to the location.
And, they helped until all were safe.
They were my heroes this day. And they will remain heroes to these five babies and to their adoptive homes, who will be blessed to call these sweethearts family.
This is Part Five, the rescue finale. The final two pups have run themselves ragged. With their fight dwindling, we are able to catch the last two here. These babies are not feral; they were in survival mode. Wait ‘til you see them now.
Updates to come!
