FREE BRISKET FOR FAMILIES IN NEED — NO QUESTIONS ASKED

This weekend didn’t go as planned. We were told to expect a big turnout at an event in Austin, but it fell through — and now I’m driving back to Mabank with over 105 pounds of fully cooked, chopped brisket.

That’s 7 full-size foil pans (about 15 lbs each) of perfectly good, hot, ready-to-eat food… but because it’s already cooked and chopped, we can’t store or serve it again. Rather than let it go to waste, we want to give it away — all of it — to families who need it.

If you or someone you know is struggling to put food on the table, please come to the restaurant tonight around 6:00 PM. No judgment. No questions asked. Just come get a hot meal for your family.
