We had an amazing weekend!

6 of our fosters got adopted!!! That's crazy. I'm so so grateful to Mainecoon Manor and Cat Haven Rescue we wouldn't be able to do this without them.

I got a text from my sister: there’s a really sick kitten that showed up behind my work.

I did what any sane person would do, and my mom and I went to go get it. Upon getting there we saw 2 kittens, their mama, and 2 other adults.

We caught the two babies in the first 5 minutes we were there. They were very interested in the food and not so scared of us. As we stood there more kept coming.

By our count, there are at least 5 more kittens, and 5 more adults. So now we’re responsible for a new colony. We can’t walk away knowing that in a month these babies could be having babies of their own.

The two babies have goopy eyes and are starving, but they’re sweet. Sadly the mama we also caught is probably going to have to be TNVR'd even though she’s friendly because no one has room.

The state of the cat world is a crisis. This isn’t limited to one state or city or neighborhood. It’s all over. Rescues are in dire need of fosters, trappers, and volunteers. If you have ever thought about getting involved, now is the time. You might not be changing the world but you are changing their world. We’d love to help you learn more.

These beautiful babies are all on their way to Mainecoon Manor cat café!
They are all vetted, microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed. They are just waiting for their forever home!

Hey friends!
I hate to ask for help but the babies need it. We have 26 foster cats right now, 4 of those being a mom and babies we just intaked.

We spend hundreds each week on food and litter but we need a little help to keep up. We go through more than 20 cans of wet food a day😱🫠

Any donation is so very appreciated and goes directly to the cats and kittens. 🐈

✨Miss Lana del Stray✨
My bottle baby I raised since 5 days old. I have formed a bond with her I haven't had with any other cat. I'm going to be so sad when she gets adopted.
She taught me I can do more than I think I can.
I'm so honored I have gotten the privilege to watch her grow❤️

We have some exciting news!!
We are now accepting applications for Boo Boo, Pawl Hollywood, and Starina.

These babies were surrendered to us by a breeder. It was an older gentleman who was no longer able to care for them. By the time we got them they weren’t in the best conditions. They were thin and severely matted due to lack of brushing and care.

It took a while to even get them to eat. And it required some serious time with clippers, scissors, and combs. But they’ve come so far already!

They are pure bred British long hairs. They are drop dead gorgeous.

🐾Pawl- the only boy of the group and a lover. Gorgeous blue eyes like his namesake. Does well with male and female cats, but sometimes gets a bit overly friendly with the ladies. He doesn’t have the equipment but apparently still has some of the drive.

❤️‍🩹Boo Boo- she wants all the attention. Her favorite things is to lay on your desk while you work and hold your hand. She got her name because she came in with a deep laceration on her face that is now healed. She’s gentle and sweet as can be.

✨Starina- she is finally learning love is good. She is miss independent, but once she warms up she loves some good scratches. She’s a small girl with a gorgeous grey and white coat and even some striping on her legs.

A little bit to know:
💇🏼‍♀️These cats need daily brushing and the occasional hair cut. And we do mean daily.
🐈They are more prone to hairballs due to their long fur. You’ll want lots of lint rollers for yourself, too!
🔋This is their first time being fully able to be cats. They have all the energy and all the love. They crave attention.
🙅🏼‍♂️As noted, Pawl was a breeding cat so he does have some habits even though he is fixed. But he does not spray.

You know what is such a hot girl hobby?

Trapping and neutering the cats in your community😝It is so easy to start and very rewarding.
Why should you do it? It helps prevent overpopulation of cats. I know everyone sees all the cats in shelters and needing help, you can help!
TNVR(Trap, neuter, vaccinate, return) helps prevent overpopulation, prevent pregnancy, and save cats and kittens from suffering.
You can work independently or alongside a rescue to help. Highly highly recommend everyone gives it a try🐈
