🌱 Plant Propagation Day at Tom’s Three Ridge Farm 🌱
A lot of people know us for our microgreens, but what many may not realize is that we’re constantly planning and building for the future.
Today was spent working with and learning more about several different plants, including Pothos, Spider Plants, Tradescantia, Crotons, Blueberries, Blackberries, Mint, and cucumbers. We discussed propagation methods, rooting techniques, grow bags, lighting, and how to turn a single healthy plant into many more over time.
While we still remain focused on producing fresh, high-quality microgreens, the nursery side of the farm is something we’re excited to continue growing. Our long-term vision has always been bigger than any one product. Microgreens are just one piece of the puzzle.
As Tom’s Three Ridge Farm grows, we hope to offer a wide variety of products, including:
🌱 Microgreens
🪴 Houseplants and propagated plants
🫐 Blueberries and other berries
🍎 Orchard fruits
🍄 Mushrooms
🧄 Garlic and specialty crops
🍁 Maple syrup
🐝 Honey and pollinator-friendly plantings
Every plant we propagate today is another step toward that future.
One of the things we love most about farming is that growth doesn’t happen overnight. Whether it’s a tray of microgreens, a rooted pothos cutting, or a future blueberry bush, everything starts small and grows with time, patience, and care.
We’re excited to continue sharing the journey with all of you as we build Tom’s Three Ridge Farm one plant at a time.
What plants have you had the most success propagating?
